She cleared her throat knowingly. "Are you sure?" Cordelia asked, gazing down at him. "I'm not entirely sure I believe you. You don't have to keep it in if there's something bugging you."
Cordelia frowned. She supposed he did have the right not to tell her. She had killed his father, after all. But did he even know about that? Either way, it was a reason. "It's not healthy to keep it inside," she said quietly. "If you can't tell me, then who can you tell?"
"Well, if it's nothing, then why not tell me about it? Won't matter, now will it?" Cordelia asked, though it was said more like a statement. She stared at him, wondering if there was anyway to get through to this kid.
"Theres nothing to tell." He said not wanting to talk since she really already knew why...he had no talents he had no school left...no friends in his eyes...
"If there's nothing to tell, then why is it that something is obviously bothering you?" Cordelia was sure it was probably just the same old thing. Even so, she wanted to at least try to get Soahc to trust her. That would probably be hard, though... definitely hard indeed.
"Theres nothing bothering me." Was his only reply, Cordelia was one of the last people he wanted to really talk to...since she was the one who put those thoughts in his head.
Cordelia sighed inwardly. He was a persistent little child, she would give him that. "Ok," she said finally, though it was completely clear she didn't believe it. "So, if nothing's bothering you, then what do you want to change the subject to?"
"Nothing." He said looking away from her and out to the ocean realizing that the beach being his home wouldn't protect him from being cold...nor feed him...nor keep him warm....he only looked out thinking about how long he would last out here
