A woman with black hair was sitting in the sand. Her legs were folded underneath each other, and papers rested against then. She sighed, closing her eyes. It would be an hour before the sun set, and it was far too bright for her liking. She had actually become accustomed to darkness during the time she had been a vampire. Amazing. Either way, she was safe — she could spend at least two hours in the sun, so one wouldn't do anything.
She was rather disappointed. The papers she had on her lap were tests and test scores from some final tests the students had taken. The Headmistress had told her how Soahc had done... and it just broke her heart. Even if he wasn't her child, what person wanted to see a kid so unloved and not doing so well?
And the fact that she had killed his father... it devastated her. She had only been trying to do the right thing... but it turns out she had probably only worsened the situation.
Sighing, Cordelia went back to looking through the tests, a red pen held between her fingers. Being a teacher really wasn't easy at times.
