Private Finished Confronting A Dragon 101

Lizzy

Lizzy was pissed. Not only was one of friends going on a date. But she was going with one of the people from the island! And, someone who Lizzy herself had yet to meet. That put Lizzy on edge, she wasn't about to sit back and watch one of her friends get burned by one of these assholes.

So, Lizzy took it upon herself to confront this guy and figure out exactly what he was planning to do. Which is how she ended up in the courtyard, on the lookout for this "Hector" as Dela called him. Spotting someone who matched "Hectors" description, Lizzy made her move. Thankfully, he seemed to caught up in his phone to see her approach.

Walking straight up to Hector, she put her hand right over his phone so he wouldn't be able to look at it if he wanted to. "Heyy bonehead." she cooed "Why don't you take that ugly thing off, I wanna talk to you."

Hectors response caught Lizzy off guard. Out of the reactions she'd been expecting, he had chosen to respond happily? This had to be fake, it had to be a facade. There was no way anyone was this happy. And if it was a facade, Lizzy would do everything she could to break it.

"Oh please, just drop the act, I'm not buying it." Lizzy said, shaking her head, before gesturing towards Hectors head. "Besides, why do even wear that thing? Are you really so ugly that you have to hide your face?" Lizzy asked, before pausing for a moment to collect her thoughts. While she could have kept trying to provoke him, there were more important issues she needed to discuss

"Now, tell me what your game is, and I might let you get back to.. that." She said, glancing towards Hectors phone, which she still kept covered.

"Yeah, yeah, keep telling yourself that." Lizzy deadpanned. She wasn't buying that that skull thing was his actual head, but it didn't matter. If he insisted on looking like a dumbass, she wasn't going to stop him.

It was then he tried to play dumb, causing Lizzy to frown. Either this guy was playing dumb, or he really didn't know why she was here. Either way, she figured it'd be easier to just come out say it. "I'm talking about Dela." Lizzy said in a condescending tone. "I want to know what you're trying to do with her." She said, making no attempt to hid the anger and disgust in her voice.

"Yes. I am." She snapped. She still didn't trust Hector, and the fact the he seemed to be trying to dance around her questions was bugging her.

Finally, Hector made an attempt to answer her question. Though he still kept things vague. 'Explore the island'? Where? I'd like to know." Lizzy had heard as well as anyone of the dangers of exploring the island. The forbidden forest was forbidden for a reason after all. And she definitely didn't need this guy putting Dela in harms way.

Plus while this guy claimed to not be that kind of dragon, Lizzy wasn't about to just take him at his word. Especially with how dodgy he was being.

"Uh-huh." Lizzy said. "Think you'll understand if I don't fully trust someone who refuses to show their face, but whatever." She said, shaking her head, this could all be so much easier if she could just possess him and see what he was really thinking and planning. But Dela had annexed that idea the moment it had come up.

She knocked back her head to look Hector dead in his "eyes" before speaking next. "If anything happens to her when she's with you, know that I will personally make your life hell. You got that?"
