Shay had been quiet the entire way home. They had called one of the gang members, who had been there to pick them up in less than five minutes. Shay sat shotgun, staring out the window at the growing darkness. She found herself watching Kelara through the review mirror. Neither she nor the driver said a thing throughout the drive.
It wasn't long before they had arrived at the Rosales mansion. The manor was modern and luxurious; it was what one might have imagined a gang family to live in. Lots of protection and lots of room. As was common, the home was stocked full of gang members.
It was one of those lazy nights, Shay thought, or maybe a meeting was going on. She wasn't entirely sure and really, she didn't have the mentality to determine. The man who had driven them disappeared somewhere deeper into the manor, likely to inform Vito and Klaus that their daughter had returned home -- and she'd brought a new visitor.
Eroshay glanced over her shoulder at Kelara, lingering in the foyer of the home. "They'll find us, I'm sure. We could wait here, or go into the kitchen or something?" The little girl turned her attention to Jericho. Would it be smarter to stay here? Would Jericho take charge?
Kelara looked around, taking in her surroundings. It was a lovely manor, though she never truly felt comfortable in such lavish settings. It reminded her too much of her childhood, and despite how nice things tended to look, she was never really safe.
When Eroshay asked where she would like to wait, Kelara turned to look down at her. Shay looked off, certainly not sassy bundle of energy she usually was. Kelara could understand that, considering the circumstances, though it didn't make her feel good.
Her expression remained as blank as ever when she responded, "I have no preference. Wherever you would be most comfortable. If you wish, you could leave me with your bodyguard." she paused a moment, "You look like you could use some rest." She glanced at Jericho for a moment before letting her gaze move on to continue taking in her surroundings.

Jericho got into the car and sat in one of the back seats. As they drove along, he put his elbow on the door of the car and rested his chin on his hand while he watched the scenery pass. He didn't bother being on guard since they were now in a protected vehicle. If Kelara was going to try anything, she'd certainly be dead. Or at the very least injured really badly. Jericho didn't say anything as the drove along, content to look out his window. He wasn't mad, or even put off in the least bit. Jericho was simply thinking about how he was going to explain to Klaus and Vito that he let Shay give him the slip. Certainly, Shay would cover for him, but how would Kelara fit into this?
They pulled into the courtyard of the Rosales manor and got out of the car. Jericho shut his door and opened Shay's for her. After they had all exited, Jericho straightened himself up and followed inside. The group came into the entryway and stopped. The driver went off to inform Klaus and Vito that they were home with a guest. Jericho looked around and saw a distinct lack of personnel. It was quiet in the home today and the atmosphere became much more mellow.
Since becoming Shay's bodyguard, Jericho had to move in so he could be close at all times. He'd had a good apartment in the city beforehand and was content living on his own. Now, he'd really been adopted into the family, it seemed and he was fine with that. With how Shay and Jericho regarded each other, he was pretty much family in everything but name.
Shay spoke when they were all in. "I think it'd be polite if we waited here for them. It shouldn't take too long. However, if they do take too long, we can make them look for us elsewhere." Jericho gave a playful grin.
