Why did Claire like this room so much? Was it because it was big? or maybe it was because she got to see a glimpse of other peoples powers.

She walked around, looking at the different types of equipment and places for people to try out their powers. While walking around, she remembered that she had to try to make more friends, no matter what. 'People are evil though!' She thought to herself.

"Hmmm..." She stared at one of the station like places. 'Weapons, weapons weapons' She quickly began to smile, but then remembered that she didn't want people to know what she could do.

'Focus Claire, we are here to be nice, be friendly.' She walked up to some people, but then walked away, feeling that they wouldn't be good friends. She finally saw someone that looked both interesting, and that looked somewhat as to what she wanted in a friend. "Hey, I'm Claire."

She felt a bit guilty, not paying close enough attention to see that the girl was busy. "I'm Claire Deyan. Nice to meet you." She shook the girl's hand and smiled a bit 'This isn't going to be so hard.'

She looked down at her hands, not sure what to say next. Where was she from? no, that would be weird. Maybe her powers? Nope that wasn't good either. Questioned raced in her mind, but nothing seemed good enough to ask. "Sorry for disturbing you, I didn't really know what you were doing."

"That's not good, the drawbacks I mean." She laughed a bit, unsure on how to respond. "I'm fourteen." She shrugged at how young she was. "I act like I am seventeen though."

She smiled a bit, embarrassed. "Yeah I am supposed to be working on my powers but..." She paused. "I am not." She looked around for a second. "I can control water, and talk to animals." she sighed. "You?"

"Sounds good." Claire walked over to the pool of water, happy that there was something for her here. She put her hands out to the water, and closed her eyes. "Here goes nothing." She breathed in and out focusing on moving the water, trying to get more to impress the girl.

A few seconds passed and nothing happened, then she breathed in and out again, opened her eyes, and slowly moved her hands upwards. In a natter of seconds, a medium sized ball of water was lifted out of the water. "Yes!" She cried with happiness. She moved her hands to the side, and the water went with her. She then put one hand on either side of her body, and she had a circle of water around her. "I love having this."

Se smiled at the girl, she was happy that she found her power interesting. That was a first for her, she loved when people thought that she was different, special. "Yeah I can but I am still learning how to do it, I can only freeze small amount for a little while, or I start to get dizzy and nauseated." She said happily. "I am also trying to learn how to heal, or maybe how to change the temperature, if I even we." She paused. "Either way I am still learning."

She put her arms out and made a straight line with the water. "I used to think to myself, that this power, was a cruse. My mother gave it to me, when she died. It has saved my life, but it has also ruined it in a way. Both of my powers have." She sighed, slowly lowering her arms. "How about you? I think I I noticed that you have, symptoms?" She put on a curious look and put the water in her hands back into the pool, then made a small wave with the water inside.

Claire nodded, she thought that it was good that people had side effects, or that they had not mastered it, it left room for more. "No one's perfect I guess." She laughed a bit and put her head down. Claire wasn't sure what to say now. They could talk more aniut powers, but she felt that Tara didn't want to continue on that topic "What now? We could practice some more? Or go somewhere else? It doesn't matter." Claire hoped that what she had said didn't sound weird, that was the last thing she wanted or needed at this moment. She smiled a bit at Tara, Claire liked her, or liked being around her.

Coffee? Claire had never liked coffee, it wasn't her thing. She nodded though, she my as well try it again, maybe it tasted different here. Maybe there was other things she could drink. "Sounds fun." She got her jacket and her bag and came back to Tara. "Ready?" She smiled a bit at her, then smiled at the room. he was happy that she was leaving the place. She didn't really like to practice her powers, letting complete strangers know what she could and couldn't do. She liked to surprise people, be a bit mysterious with her powers.

Claire laughed a tiny bit when Tara touched her shoulder. She wasn't expecting that at all. She nodded at her and looked at her scarf, which was very pretty. "A day away from a month." She replied.

She had not been here that long, and she was supposed on how fast it had all gone by. "How about you?" She glanced at Tara when she said that, not wanting to look her in the eyes as they walked.

Claire looked down, that was a lot of years, though she guessed that you get used to it all. She looked up at Tara when they were walking outside. She really liked her scarf, for some reason. When they got into the building, she was too, happywhen she felt the heat. She was used to the cold, so it hadn't bothered her as much, but it was still cold. She looked down at the ground when Tara started to talk about coffee. It brought back a memory.

Claire didn't like coffee, it reminded her of her last foster home. The people there, every morning, they had two cups of coffee, then another in the afternoon. It never changed. The lady had two sugars and three creams, and the man had one cream. She had memorized that for some reason. "Yeah, I don't like coffee so the vannila thing sounds good." Claire smiled a bit and looked up from where she was staring at on the ground. "Thanks." She said.
