Darn, she really was drunk... Oh, she hoped she wasn't embarrassing herself. Pollyanna looked down, her fingers gently rubbing a temple where her head began to hurt a little bit. Her body was already a fragile thing as it was. The last thing she needed was to do harm to it in ways she could avoid outright. Gave her a longer lifespan, and she was already terrified of how short it would be living a healthy lifestyle. As great as it felt being human with someone else she had to keep herself grounded to the fact that she was the byproduct of a failed experiment. She should have been terminated a long time ago. By the hands of someone else, or by her own body giving up on her.

But she didn't want to think of this. These were scary thoughts that kept her up at night. She was finally living a life she wanted and she didn't want it to be shattered before her eyes. Not now, not ever. But as she looked to her date she had to be faced with reality that there would always be something that set them different from the rest. Tellios was shaking, and Pollyanna looked terribly worried.

"Tellios?" She asked, but watched as his eyes flickered black, to which she assumed that he was being told to do something robot-y in his head. At least, that was what it looked like. She ate the last bits of her salad as she watched. Her own vision was a bit blurry, but if she rubbed her eyes it would be okay. It ended as quickly as it came fortunately, which gave her a sigh of relief as she set out her hand to place it on top of his once more. Squeezing gently, as she looked genuinely concerned. "Are... You alright? What happened?" She asked, her dazed stare easing up softly in her worry. He looked like he was fine. He had little bouts of him doing more robotic things. She didn't understand it personally, but she of course didn't mind either. As long as he was safe, he could do as he pleased.

But he went back to normal quickly soon after. Her smile returned as her hand withdrew. Shaky, but that was because of her own condition. Gah, she wished she wasn't drunk. It would be so much easier to understand what was going on. "Haha, you got it... From now on I'll be careful with drinks and stuff. I.... I want to enjoy all of our dates... In the least... Non-fuzzy way possible. If... Does that make sense?" She asked both him in herself, as she futilely tried to get herself together. But as she reached to drink the water she had, Tellios pieced together the rest of their date. Walk a bit, curl up and watch a movie, and....

What did he say?

He wanted to join their sides of the dorm? They had been separated this whole time and now... They could join them at last. It would be much more spacious that way, at least so she thought. But it would be interesting to see how vastly different the two halves would be. One painted completely black and purposed for more analytical stuff, the other covered in a mural and had pieces of art and random things she collected from outside. And they'd come together, just like they did. It wasn't such a big deal in the grand scheme of things, really, but it meant a lot personally to her.

"I think.. All of that is absolutely wonderful." She declared with a smile, the expression bright and eager. "Really. And besides, both of us could use the space. We're.. Boyfriend and girlfriend, so I guess we don't really need the divide anymore." She poked down to her food, and finished it in a few bites. All of this was great... Almost like a dream. She put down her fork. Taking a drink from her water. "So, whenever you're ready, I'll be more than happy to do all of that with you."

The note wasn't finished in his head. All that came up over and over was '..To Destroy..' In his head. He eventually stopped the inner ramblings of this insane robot. He then felt someone grasp his hand. He was so lost in the confusion of what was going on he almost attempted to pull away as he looked at who's hand it was. He gripped it slightly as he smiled a bit. "I'm fi- No, I'm not. I think the scientists meant to destroy me. Or want to destroy me." He said looking down into the wine glass.

If he could get drunk. His liver would probably be his worst enemy. Or greatest friend regardless.

"Yes, and I'd hate to have to carry you all the way home." He said with a smile to her wanting to keep an eye on what she drank was the just of. He smiled as he held her hand a little tighter. "It makes perfect sense Pollyanna."

He smiled that she was alright with the idea. That was perfection. He gently pulled her hand up and then leaned in to kiss it gently. His lips landing on her knuckles as he slowly lowered it back to the table as he spoke.

"I'm.. Happy you like the idea. I have been mulling it around in my head for a few hours today." Now that they were a couple they weren't going to need much privet space. Though She may kick Tellios out to change. Or let him watch. He wasn't too sure. He'd probably have to look away.

Tellios finished his wine glass in one go. Though it wasn't a lot less as he placed it down and smiled. He put his hand up and looked for the waitress mouthing 'Check, please.'

"And who knows.. What ever else happens tonight.. Well.. Happens." he said with a bit of a smile on his face. He wasn't a fan of unknowns, but sometimes. The greatest things are spontaneous.

Her drunk status combined with her emotional high left Pollyanna unaware to a lot of strife. But the word of him being not okay had her mind immediately ripped back to reality, and completely distraught when he uttered the word of destruction. "Wh-What? Destroy?... They want to destroy you?" The mutant looked horrified, her had drawing slightly over her mouth as to disguise the near drop of her jaw. This came out of nowhere. What triggered this? Why would anyone want to destroy this robot? He acted like a person! Was it okay to destroy a person for no reason? Of course not! Pollyanna's logic followed along this line. He was real to her. And everyone needed to recognize this. Of course, news like this wasn't terribly new to her. He was on the run for a reason. But why did they want to terminate him in the first place? She didn't know, but... She was genuinely scared. For him.

But she had to put on her brave face. This sort of thing would be focussed later, because Tellios looked like he desired to move on from the thought already. There was something going on in his circuitry... Pollyanna didn't understand it. But she so desperately wanted to. "Well, I dare them try... You got a guard bat-mutant. And... My teeth and claws don't have to be just for show, Ya know!" She smiled shakily, her light humor masking her genuine concern. It hurt her thinking that her Tellios might not be safe. But best to think about this later, when she could see straight.

"I'm sure... I'll feel better soon. I think that's how this works?" Poor girl didn't even know what a hangover was. She wanted to feel better for him, a sentiment enhanced by the graceful gesture of him kissing her hand. She giggled, warmth flushing her cheeks at how rapidly the notion made her heart patter in her chest. "Y-You really are a gentleman. I'm lucky that I got to go on a date with you... You're a lady-killer, that's for sure." She smiled, as he assured how happy he was to join their spaces together. From there they could potentially learn a lot from each other. Who they were, what they did... And she wanted to know everything about Tellios. Because clearly, there were a good few things she didn't quite know. "A robot and a mutant living in one room... Hmhm, this'll be funny. And good for us. There's a lot of... Stuff I wanna teach you. I want to get to know each other better too, and without a divide we can show who we are to each other." For better or worse, Pollyanna wanted to gain experience with none other than her boyfreind. In experimenting with each other, or with the trials of their existence. They were almost alone in this world, but at least they were alone together.

Te waitress then brought the check as they were ready. "I wanna help." The bat called out, and the moment they were given the book Polly put out enough moment to cover the tip and some of the bill. She ordered more than him, so it was only fair. Once Tellios would pay his part, they could leave. As she assembled her things he told her that the night had so many possibilities. Where they would go was a great question with no definite answer. Whatever it was she knew it would be great. "When you pay we'll get started. The beach awaits. And so does the TV. " She laughed, as she held the roses tight to her chest. They smelled so nice and... Would always be a warm reminder of the first man that went out with me. And didn't run and scream when she showed them what she truly was. Which made her curious... "Are there... Others you've shown your real self to? Not just strangers, but... Other friends?"

Tellios finished his drink slowly again as she asked. He only had one answer. Was that he didn't know why. Though. He really did know why. He knew the exact reason why they may want him killed. Though he could be over reacting as he spoke in a light tone. "When I left. I destroyed everything that Mad Scientist worked on. Ever piece of it. Every. Little. Thing. And downloaded all the sensitive information about me. They were smart enough to encrypt it all. I'm slowly making my way through it but.." He said as he shook his head. "Can.. We leave this for another time Polly? I-"

He stopped himself as he looked to her. "If they do come for me. They will threaten your life. I-... I can't do that to you Pollyanna. I just can't. If you got hurt over me I'd.." He felt something stream down his face it was... Water? He looked up. He then looked at Pollyanna perplexed as he touched it.

He shed a tear? What was going on?

He shed a smile through his confusion and then spoke. "Well.. You are a real lady like figure yourself. Beautifully dressed. Very cute." Tellios was a lady killer? Was that even a thing? He blinked a few times. Tellios never killed a girl. Just one man. The man who claimed to be his father for years. He smirked a bit. Then her next line of speech had him confused. "A lot of stuff? What?" he wasn't sure on where she was coming from, but he had a feeling that Tellios would have a VERY awkward moment when she brings it up.

She paid for a portion and Tellios managed to pulled out the rest of the funds to cover for the night. Out of a wallet in his jacket as well as his jacket pocket for some loose change. "I appreciate it Pollyanna." Tellios got up and moved to his girlfriends side and slowly pulled out the chair as she stood and gave her a soft peck on the cheek as he went to grab his jacket after. Then placed it on. He smiled as he redid his tie and then buttoned his jacket. "The rest of our night will be glorious dear." He said with a smile. Her next question kind of stumped him.

"Besides the lab that made me.. One or two. Mainly teachers that I have that had shown an interest in me due to me always being good. I tampered with most of my records. I've been. Ashamed of what I am. I am a freak. I could literally give you my heart if you asked for it." He said as he opened the door to leave the building and held it for his girlfriend. He put his arm out for her to hold onto. Like a cheesy movie. Though this was a pretty cheesy night.

Even in her attempts to move along and make ammends, it seemed Tellios looked worried and... Afraid, honestly. He was running away from a force greater than his own, to which Pollyanna frowned and held her roses close to her chest. He did something bad. At least, bad for him. These scientists were unethical, or... Were they? Tellios was a robot. She could only presume that's what people saw in him, and his feelings and emotions were nothing more than the result of a complex AI. So why put regard for him if he was the product of their creation, especially if deemed a failure? Well, that was the sort of mentality she honestly despised. No one should think that about another being, human or not. And the only thing that would result from that mentality would be rebellion. Fortunately, Pollyanna was rescued before she even had a chance to attempt it. For if that was the case, she'd be on the run too.

"Telli..." She whispered out in concern, as she stood up. Polly didn't want to cause a scene, but it was clear Tellios was getting very upset. She... Never saw him like this. And it devastated her. He was shaken up, and dealing with emotions it looked like he had bottled up for a very long time. Her silence broke with a soft gasp. He was... Crying. But he was as confused and distraught as her in this regard. She didn't know how to deal with it all here. When they were supposed to be having a calm night. Even as he tried to make light of things she couldn't help but to feel extremely guilty. For making him feel unwanted emotions, and for almost breaking down crying. She looked down as he finally settled himself, only smiling a hint when he kissed her and assured her that she was a real lady. Among other things, but it honestly blew over her head. There were things she really didn't understand. One day, she hoped she might. But in a way possible that wouldn't hurt her nor Tellios, wether it be in an emotional or physical sense. She didn't want to bring it up, but... It ate away at her. Her wonderful and kind boyfriend depreciated himself to a level she didn't want to see. After all this he still thought himself to be a freak. This really wouldn't do.

So once they were out of the restaurant, she immediately went to wrap her arms quickly around his torso. Her bouquet clutched tightly in one hand as she buried her face on his chest. She smiled just a bit, worn and somewhat sad. But she still wanted to cheer him up, and with a kiss to his forehead after standing on her toes she would attempt just that. "I just want to say thank you. For dinner, and these beautiful roses. I also want to say I'm really sorry for bringing these things up when they clearly hurt you. That... That was never my intention, I promise." She guided some of his hair from his face, as she finally let go to keep walking towards their next destination. She didn't want any patrons of the restaurant they just left to be concerned over any drama. "There's just a lot of things that I don't know about you. Just let me know when I touch bad territory, okay? Because I don't want you to feel this way. This... You deserve better than this." It wasn't too far of a walk from where they were to the beach. The island was good like that. "If you're a freak, then I'm a monstrosity. A defect of nature. I've been told that too. But what other people say shouldn't prevent you from being happy. And I really like it when you smile... Because then I smile, and we're both content. And I want that for you. I don't want you to be ashamed with what you are. Because I have lived with that too for many, many years. And it's no fun." Only a few blocks away. She wrapped both her hands around her flowers, as her eyes looked towards the night. "Living in fear will only eat you up. I won't get hurt. I can't... Promise, though. But I have hope that we'll both be okay and we'll never get caught. The last thing we need is to be put into another dumb lab, I can say that much." She tried her hand at chuckling. The future was uncertain, and she could be hurt if she was discovered with him. She was a pricey investment herself, with very valuable insight to what could benefit mankind. Plus, she was a mutated hybrid that could be tested for a variety of things. The possibilities were endless, and that's what frightened her. "We'll have each other though. As friends, and more than that. I won't let them hurt me. Or you. Because I'll stick by your side, no matter what!" She grinned, before growing a bit puzzled at his closing remark. "W-what do you mean by that?"

Pollyanna looked distressed. He blinked a few times as he realized what he had been saying and he kept his eyes forward. He didn't look at her as they walked. He kept moving. The only comforting parts of this conversation were the steps he took. Hearing each and everyone one. Maybe she was right to worry? Maybe he was wrong to speak? Tellios spoke his mind. Isn't that what you do? Giving it thought he put a hand on her elbow as he pulled her close. Beginning to whisper softly to her. Trying to make amends to her and her alone. No one else. There was no one else he wanted to be with but her.

"Polly, I shouldn't hide anything from you.. Should I?"

He wasn't sure on where the tear came from, but it was something. Though the gasp that came from Pollyanna set him off. He went to ask what was wrong? Though he was thinking that dropping the subject entirely might be a better idea. So he gently planted a kiss on her neck. Getting a smell of her. As well as the roses. The smell was a little.. Intoxicating as he slowly pulled away. He did this while still walking as he did so.

He placed his hands on her back and smiled slightly. "Pollyanna, I did this for you. You need not thank me. I should thank you for coming." His smiled grew a bit more as he slowly kisses her lips. Her lips. Her.. beautiful lips. "I know Pollyanna, I just.. I have not ever opened myself up like this. It's.. new, but nice. It's better than becoming a lifeless husk and speaking as a monotone voice."

As they walked he made a quick grab for her hand. Though both hands were around the roses he got. That was close enough as he looked forward and kept walking. Eventually they got to the Beach. He shook his head. "No Pollyanna, you are not a monster." He stopped her, slowly putting a hand on her face. Gazing into her eyes with his. His eyes that had constantly moving green, red and yellow lines. That glowed slightly. "You are the most beautiful girl I have had the pleasure of knowing." Her speech about living in fear kind of got to him. "Now that you and I are a we. We shouldn't fear anything, but what the future holds for us. My beautiful Pollyanna."

Both Tellios and Pollyanna were pricey individuals. some would pay more for either or. Even both would fetch a price that would fund someone for life times. He then took Pollyanna close to the beach, to at least the pier to start as he looked at her. "I won't let anyone harm even a hair on you." He said with a soft smile as he leaned up against a railing for a moment.

"Deep inside my person is a heart that is built of nanites for the sole purpose of replication. My nanites, they die, then go through a process to turn the dead nanites into new ones. Think of how your blood works. Just.. Robotic. Though I can do it with out it." He said with a bit of a chuckle as he shook his head back and forth. It was kind of funny, though he's only done it once before. He wasn't sure how it would work now. Since he's grown into it.

She wanted him to be okay. That was all he wanted. It was cruel and unfair that he'd been dealt the hand he was given, but she was happy things were turning up for him. And was even happier that she was able to help his life go in that direction. The way he smiled lent her a sensation she could only describe as warm. Not physically, but the sort of warm that softened her mood and quelled her worries. His gentle hand around her in comfort gave her a pleasant tightening in her chest. She just couldn't believe where she stood right now. She thought this sort of thing wouldn't happened to girls- no, creatures- like her. It was the sort of stuff she found in books as a little girl. Sorta like an altered version of beauty and the beast. The question was which was who.

He appeared to open up more with her speech to him. It was hard, but it was the truth. "I just want us to be open with each other.... I don't necessarily know all of your schematics, but I do understand. How you feel, and a bit of what you've been through... We both need that. Someone who knows the real us and aren't scared or disgusted. Right now that someone... Is each other. Because we need to be accepted. And I'd... I'd be happy to do the accepting. You're a good person Tellios. You're much more than that." She inhaled deeply with his kiss. Her return came in the form of the gentle press of her lips to his cheek. She could do this much more. Show him her affection, or at least the desire to care for another after years of isolation.

What came next only further caused her to adopt the vivid cherry red upon her cheeks. His sweet and all-too-kind words had her grinning from ear to ear. That not only was she not a monster, but she was beautiful... The most beautiful girl he had ever met, apparently. That... That couldn't have been true. But if it was... She stifled a giggle, before placing the base of her bouquet to an opening in her purse. This way she could wrap her arms around his torso, so that she could bury her face in his chest for a moment. It was... Instinct, to curl up where she was safe in order to avoid harm. But he was her safety for now. And his wonderful words left her in placid awe. "Mm.." She hummed on her lips, the sound arising from her chest. She looked up for a moment only to massage her lips over his, enjoying his touch before letting go to look up at him. "I dunno what I did to deserve you. But you are truly amazing, in a way I struggle to describe." Her hand reached up to brush some hair from his face. Like this or as a robot, she'd most likely spend a good amount of time in his embrace. The wind of the beach billowed over the two as they stood on the pier, facing one another. "I hope the future looks in our favor. Because I can certainly get used to this."

True, Tellios might be on the run. And eventually they might try to find him. It would... Be a sad day. Because she would want to protect him, but at the same time she knew she was weak in terms of strength. She also couldn't bring herself to fight anybody. She clutched his hand tightly as he began to take her close to the beach. "And I won't let them take you. But if they do... Then they have to take me too. It's money they're after. We're walking cash bags. But... They'll never catch us. I'll make sure of that." How? Well, she didn't know. But if these scientists wanted to destroy him, well... She'd gladly throw herself before him for them to take her instead. But that was for the future to behold. Perhaps Tellios would be the one worth being strapped against a table, infested with sharp tools and signs of malicious experimentation.

But these thoughts were the ones haunting her nightmares. She had no desire for them, which is why she would rather listen to Tellios explain himself. His heart... He actually had a heart.... She paused walking. "I knew it." Her palm outstretched to touch his chest, as if to search for a feel for it. "It may not be like mine but... I knew you had to have a heart. You certainly show off that well." More than well. "See? You'll never just be a lifeless husk. You're really sweet, and it doesn't take a human appearance to convey that. Your words alone are enough to make me blush."

Tellios smiled at Pollyanna, he was happy with her. Deep down he had a spot just for her. Just for Pollyanna. He had locked away any secrets she had told him. Or said while the nanite was around. The secrets she has will die with Tellios. He then gave some thought to what this was. His niceness. Her... Beauty. How did Tellios deserve this? Deserve her. He couldn't shake the thought of it so he did what any person in his place would do. Nod and go with the flow. He was happy to have Pollyanna. More than she knew.

"Your speech is logical Pollyanna. Maybe I am rubbing off on you after all." He said as he blinked a few times. "N-not literally. I mean metaphorically." He went somewhere different with that. Though she was right. Everything that she said was true. She was more than what she could say to Tellios. she accepted him. That's how Tellios saw it.

She put the roses away then blushed almost as red as the roses he got her. He was slightly confused and raised an eyebrow but felt her embrace as he slowly placed his hands on her hips as he slowly pulled her close as possible. Hearing her hum made everything perfect. She was happy. That was good. "You survived." He said as he kissed her again, leaning down to her level as he spoke. "The future is unpredictable. So long as we are happy. The future will smile." He kissed her again and held the kiss for a few moments. Just to enjoy her lips. Though he felt like.. He would like more than just a kiss on the lips.

Tellios pulled away for a moment. He wasn't sure what to do to go farther than just a kiss. Maybe.. Ask? Just figure out something? He shook his head for a moment, though she said something that make him smile. "You are right, but so long as I draw breath. No one will take you away from me."

She placed her hand on his check, his heart beating fast. As if he was excited to be in this situation with Pollyanna. He placed a hand on hers. "I guess you are right.. Pollyanna." She was cute when she blushed. It made him feel happy to know that someone was happy with what he did. Or was doing as he looked at the water, the moons reflection was beautiful on it as he looked at her. Deep into her eyes.

"Pollyanna..."

For a moment, Pollyanna attempted to retrace her steps to figure out what had gotten her this far. Had he not been assigned to her as a dorm mate, Pollyanna would have never met him. If she didn’t bump into him that day, they wouldn’t have had a chance to explore each other. And had they not kissed each other that first time… They wouldn’t be boyfriend and girlfriend. She liked him from day one. To think how their friendship sparked into this… This relationship they had. It sprouted up rather fast, but stemmed from solid ground it seemed. A common denominator that was a one in a million chance of existing. It resonated in both of them. Two misfits that found comfort in each other’s presence and words. If only the outside world could see them now. How these so called freaks shared something special, but that something was only just budding. Emerging from the shaky ground from which it came.

His soft touches sent thermal shivers down her spine, as what would be cold metal was actually the heated touch of something made of flesh and blood like her. Or so it felt. She chuckled lightly at his little mistake in his words, which made him sound like he was implying more that what he intended. Of course, Pollyanna was too naive to pick up on this. Innuendo would fly right over her head in most situations. "Don’t worry, I know what you mean." But his words did matter, as they always would. Her hand reached up to breeze through his hair, as she eased her body in closer as he grasped her hips. Not a second’s hesitation. Kisses were starting to evolve into something more. Pollyanna has yet the words to properly describe how she felt with him. She just hoped that her open touch was better at conveying it.

"I guess life had other plans for us… It’s wonderful how everything worked okay for us in the end. Always move forward, and never back." She nodded to herself, before placing another kiss on his forehead. This was a bit hard considering that she was shorter than Tellios. But the effort was clearly worth it, seeing how happy their touch made each other. "I know nothing will come in between us… Or our freedom. Lab experiments gotta look after each other, y’know?"

But the brief bout of humor she cast out died quickly as it appeared Tellios was thinking. This time, she gave him a moment in silence. Which gave her an opportunity to marvel the night out. The warm breeze blew at her curls gently, as her eyes mellowly focused on the moon’s reflection. Her hands never let go of his as she witnessed the night with him. It was so… perfect. Just like this moment. The only thing that interrupted the serenity as the sudden calling of her name. It appeared he had something crucial to say.

"Yes, Tellios? Is there something wrong?" She asked, before squeezing his hands a tiny bit. Her head tilted slightly, in a hint of puzzlement. "You can tell me anything. I’d love to listen."

Tellios could watch the steps. His recordings of everything. It all seemed illogical now. Everything just seemed.. Odd weird. Unknown. Though he was happy. Pollyanna was a great girl for him. The best.

The only.

She understood what he meant. Thank the fates. He sighed for a moment as she chuckled and then smiled. He was happy with her. He was having a hard time describing what he felt. Though he was a robot with the access to all words in the English language. He kissed her forehead as he spoke and his lips were moving on her head. "I am having a hard time. Finding how I feel with you. Pollyanna."

"You are right. Though, instead of worrying about the future. Let's stay here. In the present. With you and I. Not the us of the future." He said. He didn't want to worry about the future. He was content with now and not dealing with the future. "Yes, you are right. Though, we are not experiments anymore."

He said with his own chuckle. While he was looking into her eyes, he was almost powerless to do something he wasn't sure of. He kissed her. Slowly parting his lips on the kiss and trying to slowly place his tongue into her mouth. If she stopped him. He was going to pull away. If not. He was going to hold it there. He wasn't sure on what to do. This just felt.. right in his programming, that just made him do it. The tongue was even a little moist like a normal mouth would be.
