Celeste had noticed the flickering emotions across Ebvion's face. They had gone easily from happy and excited to hesitant to finally, putting on a brave face. They were, at times, like an open book. Something Celeste adored about Ebvion. She loved how honest they were with their emotions and wished that sometimes Azure was as open with how he was feeling.
"Yes, of course, you can," she said to their question about the cart as she grabbed her house keys from a decorative stone bowl that Shale had made for her, and then, on an impulse, Celeste went over and gave them a little kiss on the top of their head. "You'll be fine, Ebviony. I won't let anything happen to you, I promise." she murmured reassuringly as she held out her hand to them.
"Let's go then," Celeste said with an encouraging smile as she led Ebvion out the front door, locked it and drove them both to the nearest grocery store. Thankfully, it was still rather early, and while there were people shopping and milling around, it wasn't as crazy busy as it could be.
Once they were inside the store, Celeste grabbed a cart with a seat chair, and then looked at Ebviony questioningly. "Ready?" she asked as she offered to help them into the chair.
