Lizzy

Lizzy listened for a moment, waiting for some, any response. Figuring she wasn't going to get one, she put the wings away with an audible groan. "You're really a killjoy, you know that?" she said, as Warren-Lizzy jumped off of the table, giving a little bow as they did so.

Finally, Lizzy heard the voice again.
"Finally! Where the fuck were..." without warning she found herself cut off as the voice said something about an "agency" and "sending help." Lizzy had no idea what that meant, but also had no intention of finding out.

Still, she wasn't going to let this, thing, know that she was actually concerned. "Well I killed a god!" she snapped back. "So do your worst, I'm not scared." she said with a huff.

"Hm," Sunshine said to Warren. "I'm not entirely sure I believe that she's killed a god, but we can't completely write off the possibility. At least she seems to believe what I said."
"So what are we supposed to do now?" Warren asked. "No one's actually coming to help us."
"Yeah, I didn't think that far..."
The two brainstormed for a few more moments.
"Okay, I think I got something. You know how right before you tell me that you want to get out and fly, you exert a little bit of pressure in your core to get my attention?"
"Huh? I don't do that."
"Uh, yes, you do. Actually, it might be a subconscious thing." Warren relayed his plan to Sunshine as quickly as possible. She put it into action as he was still explaining, exerting a minuscule amount of pressure in the core in Warren's body. It wouldn't be enough to cause pain, but it would be noticeable. She told Lizzy, "What you're feeling right now is the tracking device in Warren's body. I'd suggest you return him back to how he was so, and I'll just tell the higher-ups that it was a false alarm."

Lizzy

The voice seemed to accept her bluff and disappear. Giving Lizzy a chance to sigh with relief. Things seemed to be going her way, and she wanted to keep it like that.

"HA! That's right, I'm the one in charge right now! Not you!" she taunted at the voice, confident its threats were empty words. Only to be greeted by a strange feeling that surged through Warrens body. A feeling that filled Lizzy with dread.

"Wha.. What the fuck was that?!" she shouted, her bravado finally starting to break, and fear beginning to creep through. The voice then said something about a tracking device inside Warren. Lizzy had a creeping fear that the voice wasn't lying. She was slowly losing her grasp on the situation, and needed to regain it fast.

After waiting for a few seconds, she finally spoke to this voice again, "And.. if I refuse?" she asked hesitantly. It wasn't like the "agency" would hurt her, right?

Sunshine laughed triumphantly. "Yes! We got her!"

"Hm. Try not to sound too happy about it," Warren said. "What are you going to say to this?"

"Don't worry. I've already got something." She focused her voice on "Warren": "I can't say for sure what they'll do," she said. "I try to stay away from the serious stuff. However, I do know that they always put all of their effort into protecting the people who are important to them. Just to give you a glimpse as to what you're getting yourself into, go outside and release me from this body so that you can see my true form. You'll still have control of Warren, but you'll at least be able to see the scale of your potential opponents. Don't worry about them suddenly showing up. It'll be a little while before they get here."

Lizzy

"Potential Opponents!??!" Lizzy nearly screamed with fear at the voice. This "agency" was sending people for her to fight? She wasn't a fighter in any sense of the word, she lacked any physical strength, couldn't run at all, and even a weak punch could cause serious injury. This was really bad.

And then there was the problem of her body. She'd be out for an hour, meaning she wouldn't have any defense against Warren, if he were to retaliate. She needed an out that worked favorably for her, and fast.

"How can I trust you?" she asked after a moment. "How do I know you won't do something to me after I stop this? You could try to hurt me, or send those.. "opponents" after me anyway!" She paused, giving the voice a chance to consider her counter.

"Keep in mind I hold all the cards right now.. I'll release him now, if you promise to not retaliate against me." Lizzy finally offered, getting some of her confidence back. She was still shaken, but she hoped that she could at least escape any repercussions from Warren and the voice.

Of course, her time with the body was already starting to run low, soon enough she'd be forced out, willingly, or otherwise. But, Warren and this voice didn't need to know that.

All of a sudden, Warren felt bad for Lizzy. He felt like he had a good read on what kind of person she was now. In fact, a teammate of his used to be like she was, and it was a commonly held opinion that he was insufferable. Fortunately, the teammate had managed to change on his own.
"Ah, seems like her facade has finally broken down," Sunshine said to Warren.
"Yes," Warren said. He told Sunshine what he wanted her to say next.
She pushed her voice to "Warren's" head: "I suppose you can only take my word for it," she said, "but Warren is definitely not going to retaliate. I've known this boy for a few years now, and trust me when I say that he wouldn't hurt a fly. You saw a bit of that earlier. He had no problem keeping his composure while you continued to insult him.
"Besides, would you rather take your chances with him, or the giant robots that will come after you if you don't release him right now?"

Lizzy

Lizzy thought it over for a minute, before speaking "I'll take my chances with Warren. Deal."

With that, Lizzy finally gave Warren his body back. Of course, the only thing she saw after leaving his body, was complete darkness. If one happened to be looking at her when this happened, they'd notice her eyes stop glowing, before they rolled back into her head, while her body went completely limp. She was still breathing, but she was out cold. At least for now.

OOC: Time skip: 1 Hour.

"Ughhhhh." Lizzy moaned, as she slowly woke herself back up from her impromptu nap. Memories of what she'd been up to before passing out slowly came back to her, and after checking herself to make sure nothing had happened while she was out, she looked around the lounge.

Most people had left by that point, and she was going to go as well. However, she stopped when she spotted Warren. She would have guessed he would have left already, so the fact that he was still hanging around came as a bit of a surprise to her. And it gave her just a hint of fear.

"Wow, you.. you're still here? she said with a yawn, before continuing."Gonna mock me? Or try to lecture me again?" She asked, rolling her eyes. But secretly intrigued as to why he'd chosen to hang around.

When Lizzy relinquished control over Warren's body, it was as if nothing happened to him at all. She, however, fell back into her chair. Warren took a few moments to reaffirm that he had access to his body, then spoke to Sunshine.
"It worked," he said, "but Lizzy seems to have passed out."
"Well... hm. I was going to say 'good,' but you wouldn't like that much, would you?"
Warren went around the lounge to apologize to everyone that had been subjected to "his" singing. He made sure to exclude Lizzy from his explanation of what happened, and instead told everyone that a friend of his was playing a prank on him.
When he was done, he returned to Lizzy and sat in a nearby chair. "How long do you think she's gonna be out for?" he asked Sunshine.
"Meh. Probably a few minutes."

Lizzy came to an hour later. Warren had went to get that soda Sunshine liked so much, went outside to let her fly, and looked at his phone while he waited for her to wake up.
"I just wanted to clarify a few things," he told her. "The first is that a teacher never did come in and yell for the music to be turned off. That was the voice in my head, Sunshine, who is the one you were talking to when you took control of me. Second, there was no one coming to my aid. That was just something Sunshine and I made up to get you out.
"You may be wondering why I'm telling you this. Well, I think that, since you can never get me with that trick again, there's no use for you to leave this situation with false information."

Lizzy

While she had expected him to try to tell her why what she'd done was wrong and what not, Warren surprised Lizzy by being truthful about the situation to her. Something that she had certainly not been to him. And while she didn't completely believe that the threats "Sunshine" made of opponents were hollow, she wasn't going to question him on it.

"Uh... huh." Lizzy responded, part of her told her to tell Warren about the one hour time limit, but she held her tongue. That information was on a need to know basis, and Warren didn't need to know. "Just so you know, I would have given it back..." Her voice trailed off before she muttered something under her breath, so that Warren couldn't hear."Eventually."

Then she remembered something: a small deal she'd made at the start of all this. A deal she was very happy to have made now.

"Ya know, I didn't realllllly lie to you." she said with a smirk. "About the eyes, I mean. Yours still changed color, The whole 'possession' thing was just a.." she paused for a moment, as if thinking of the right word. "Side effect. I held up my end. You'll keep yours?" She asked, knowing she couldn't fault him for refusing, but trying to see how Warren would choose to respond.

Warren believed Lizzy when she told him that she would return his body eventually, but he wasn't willing to see how long that would take. He chuckled. "The deal was kind of muddled when you added in a factor that you hadn't told me about beforehand, but like I said, I'm not one to give away others' secrets."
Warren stood and pocketed his phone. "However, I did tell everyone in here that someone took over my body," he said. "I didn't mention your name, of course, but they'll probably be wary, and I will, too. I know the signs now, and if I ever figure out that you've taken over someone else's body, I might have to expose your secret. For the well-being of others."
That last statement came out a bit more threatening than Warren intended it to, but he didn't take it back. He had been mildly uncomfortable about his body moving without his permission, but he wasn't angry. It was highly unlikely that others would feel the same. He signaled for Sunshine to come back so that she could hear what Lizzy would say and offer her own thoughts on the situation.
