Eli didn't respond to Eremita's rambling, though he did grin when she wasn't looking. That sort of reaction was normal when people saw him when he used his powers. It must look weird, as he doesn't move, he just seems to exist somewhere else. Eli knew he would freak out if he saw it happen.

Eremita seemed to have the same idea as Eli, using a tarp- to keep off water?- to bundle her up. They slowly moved to the entrance when he heard Violeta calling out. Well, sort of, it was hard to hear her, so he had to lean in close to actually make out words. Eventually, he understood that she was already healing inside the cocoon. Looking around, he tried to find a place out of the sun. The only nearby place was actually inside. "Change of plan, Eremita, we just need to get her inside."

He pushed the door as far open as he could. "Okay, bring her in."

“Eh? Just inside? But they got hurt? Don’t the undead need to be like… fixed up manually?” The cyborg girl said, tilting her head. She didn’t mean any offense by the comment, her short lifespan, inherent knowledge generally missing the supernatural, and generally being a shut in left her relying on pop culture for much of her knowledge, a lot of which was from the narrow reality and was thus not accurate. She did notice he had leaned towards the package, and she had heard a muffled noise, so she trusted his words enough to listen.

Bringing her legs in closer, she lowered herself almost to the ground, her usually longer steps replaced by smaller scuttling in order to fit her boiler through the doorway. She had heard about the existence of charms that could help her, but from what she knew, they wouldn’t be able to help her, at least not the default models. For its size, her boiler was actually quite inefficient, using one of those shrinking charms would likely slow her down exponentially, especially if she were to go back to normal size, she’d lack the steam to defend herself. As for the other one… Well, it would get rid of her life support equipment, so that was mostly off the table.

Once inside, Eremita moved slightly further, making sure to move out of the way of the entrance before lowering the other girl to the ground. By now she had realized that it was probably the sunlight that had hurt the girls hand, for once her stereotyped knowledge proving true, and found a generally shady spot, with the dappled sunlight that might reach the vampire blocked by Eremita own body. Using her feelers, she gingerly pulled open the bag, not entirely as to shade Violetta while letting her get out on her own accord, just in case she deemed it was still not good enough to get out yet.

“Are you okay now?” She asked gently, her voice still a little concerned.

It took a bit before Violeta could tell that her words had gotten through to at least one of them. it wouldn't have been the end of the world if they had kept taking her to see one of the nurses but it would have been a lot of time and then they would insist on doing all kinda of checks on her. Probably even lecture her about running around in the daytime or not using her earplugs or something.

Thankfully it wasn't that much longer until she felt her cocoon enter the AC of the building and get lowered down to the floor. As the makeshift pocket of a tarp was opened Violeta squirmed around and looked to see how tangle din her own cloak she had become. It was a little like a toddler who tossed and turned in their sleep and it took her a solid minute to untwist the fabric around her and actually climb to her feet. Since she was inside the building and out of the sunlight she kept her hood down, finally revealing her face to the other two people. Her purple hair was a mess after rolling around inside the tarp but she looked mostly unhurt as she stood.

"Hey... so i'm sorry for scaring you. I just have really really sensitive ears. I do heal real good though so I'll be ok." In fact any damage she might have sustained to her ears had healed completely. Violeta took a look around at where she was and gingerly climbed out of the tarp. Well, we had to come here anyway for her pills so I guess it wasn't too bad.

"Thank you both for keeping me safe. I really appreciate it," She said with a smile. Zero trace remaining of the girl who had just been collapsed on the floor crying in pain. "Now we just have two things to do. One, we get your pills Eremita. That's the most important thing," She advised to Eremita before turning to Eli. "Also, is it ok to ask what you did back there? It seemed really cool even though I didn't get to see it."

She had gotten distracted and forgot to mention what the second thing they should do was. It wasn't anything super important but it probably was a little weird that she said there were two things and neglected to mention the other.

He just nodded when Eremita questioned what he said. From what he knew, most supernatural beings had some sort of natural healing, so unless they were actually dead, they could heal over time, and Violeta just so happened to heal faster than normal.

As Eremita shuffled through the door, Eli held back, holding the door open. Doing so, he wondered. How old was Eremita? She didn't seem to know much about the supernatural, yet she couldn't have been from the Narrow Reality. Coupling that with her family on the hunt for her, Eli found himself intrigued by her.

Violeta also seemed interesting, what with her purple hair, and how she knew what he did, though technically she shouldn't have been able to hear him make a noise. "Well, that's my special ability." Eli held back for a moment. These were the first people he was going to tell about this, after all. "Well, it means I can stop time."

After telling them this, he thought for a moment. Violeta had mentioned they had to do two things, right? One was Eremita's pills, but what was the second one?

“Sor-Sorry about that!” Eremita said, putting her hands together and bending her upper body over slightly as if to plead for forgiveness, “My machinery isn’t very well made, so it tends to make a lot of noise! Please forgive me!” She added, attempting to minimize movement needed to reduce noise.

“Eh?” Eremita exclaimed staring at Eli, taking a moment to process the information. ”B-but isn’t time like… Unstoppable? It doesn’t just stop moving because one person wants it to, right?” She asked quickly, moving her hands as she spoke. She didn’t like that idea. Not at all. The idea that someone could stop time and finish her before she could even realize she was in danger scared the cyborg girl. As much as she didn’t want to believe it however, it did line up with what had occurred earlier. If it was just teleportation, how would he have put his jacket on Violetta’s head?

Realizing what was about to happen, Eremita lunged towards the vampire, covering the girls ears, or at least where they should be, with her hands. A loud whistle sounded from the boiler on her back, spewing out a puff of steam. One of her feelers reached up, grabbing a small chain attached to a small hatch on her shell, steam flushing out of the opening, temporarily covering the area in a small cloud. Pulling her hands off of the other girls ears, she reached back slowly with one of her arms. She missed a few times, but she eventually managed to close the opening, allowing her to restore pressure, and energy, to herself.

“I’m So-!’ Eremita started, realizing that if she were to continue panicking the whistle would likely sound again. “I mean, I’m sorry for that happening. It tends to go off when I… When I panic” She continued, her tone much softer then it had been.

He could stop time? That was so cool! "Really? That's an awesome thing to be able to do. I only knew you had suddenly moved because I sensed your emotions change locations," she exclaimed excitedly at Eli. She knew he a had done something strange since she had felt the emotions change locations but she would have never thought someone could actually stop time. Which on second thought was kind of a dumb thing since practically anything seemed to be possible on the island.

The weird physics of having time be stopped around people didn't bother her, but that was mainly because she wasn't great at school and really didn't care about trying to understand how everything worked. She was after all an undead person that somehow gained sustenance off of other people's emotions. She did however feel sorry that Eremita felt so bad about what had happened. "It's ok you didn't know-" She was cut off as Eremita lunged at her. Violeta's eyes widened and she very nearly shoved her back before the whistling started and her knees buckled as both she and Eremita covered her sensitive ears. It wasn't quite as bad as last time but it still hurt.

Violeta regained her feet after a moment and stopped to put her earplugs half-way in. She now knew that when the girl panicked she was likely to make a loud noise so Violeta could keep an eye out for that type of emotion building. It would be easy enough to quickly push the earplugs further in. "Calm down, i'm ok. You're ok. Everyone is ok. Let's just get you your medicine and we can all relax a little bit," Violeta said as smoothly and comforting as she could.

While Violeta seemed rather calm about it, Eremita was not so much, and struggled to understand how it was possible. Something about it must've have scared her, as the next thing he noticed was her lunging at Violeta, and covering her ears just as the boiler on her back went off.

He winced at the loud noise and waved away the small cloud of steam. Looking to Violeta, Eli tried to gauge the damage it would have done to her. Judging from her appearance, not as much as before, but still a considerable amount. "So uh, I guess it can be a bit scary at first. If it helps, I only promise to do good with it."

Bending down to pick up his jacket off the floor, Eli thought about what had just transpired. Was the Boiler related to her heartbeat? What exactly does the Boiler do?
