Violeta never even stopped sprinting as she headed for the infirmary with the bottle for Eremita's medicine. She very nearly bowled over a couple holding hands and enjoying a quiet walk between classes and had to jump clear over a kid she didn't notice until the last second. That last one unfortunately lead to her cloak flapping a little in the wind and part of her ankle was revealed to the sun. Fortunately she was a huge fan of long stripey socks so she was saved from a sudden lick of terrible pain.

As she neared the building she was very relieved to see someone just leaving and they held the door for her as she ran straight inside like a maniac. The bewildered man just stood there dumbfounded as she continued on bringing a bit of a wind with her. Once she was out of the sunlight she pulled down her hood and skidded to a stop at the desk with a bit of a screeching sound from her shoes. She very nearly fell over from the sudden stop but managed to keep herself up.

Violeta quickly explained to the nurse that she had found a girl named Eremita in pain and stuck in the courtyard. She apparently had run out of medication and desperately needed it to, well she supposed at least stand up and start walking about again. She explained all that and then held out the empty pill bottle with a smile.

The nurse was understandably a bit suspicious of a teenager showing up to ask for pain medication for a friend but after reviewing the notes they had on Eremita, and also the notes on Violeta herself, she went to speak to a doctor. It was clear that Eremita needed the medicine because her records had noted how important they were when the prescription was given to her. Violeta on the other hadn't wasn't exactly a regular to medical care on the island since she just healed on her own most of the time. They did know however that because of her vampirism the medicine would have no effect on her at all.

The doctor came out and spoke to Violeta as well and finally Violeta angrily stopped them "Look, she's hurt and scared and stuck out there while you waste a bunch of time. Give me some medicine to take to her or send someone 'responsible' to help her. I'm an adult and i'm not going to do anything other than bring the medicine to her." She didn't get angry very often. Normally it was just a distracted happiness as she fed on various emotions but these people were annoying.

The doctor and nurse looked like they were about to tell her off but then the doctor sighed. They decided they weren't going to give her the full amount of medicine but they could give her enough for Eremita to take so she could make it to the infirmary herself. Aided by her friends of course. Violeta had to sign a few forms and they made a record of what she was taking from them but then she was back off running. She only paused for a moment to put her hood back over her head as she approached the doors and headed back towards Eremita at the same very quick speed.

His Analysis was cut short when he was pushed back by a claw and warned not to move any closer. "Got it." Eli nodded, sitting down where he was, hugging his knees. "I'm Eli, by the way. I don't think I introduced myself earlier." He stated, trying to make conversation. Probably better than just sitting there in complete silence.

"So, uh, When you said earlier that I might be working with the others, who and what exactly did you mean?" It might have been inappropriate to ask, but he had to know.

Luckily the boy seemed keen on listening to her. Even just pushing him away had taken more out of her then she expected. She hoped the other girl would be back soon. She looked up at him when he spoke, making sure to link his name and face. “I’m… Eremita.” She said rather quietly, not used to introducing herself. In the past, it had almost always been done for her, but doing it herself somehow seemed a little embarrassing. Her thoughts were interrupted when he asked about what she had said. She looked at his face, looking for any specific giveaways, but finding none. Either the boy was very good at acting, or truly had no idea about her and her siblings.

“The others are… My family… There's a few of us around still, but we won’t be for very long. We have short lives. The only way we know how to make ourselves live longer is… by taking the time of one of the others. Killing them…” She explained, her voice hushed, “But I’m will find another way, as I hope the others will. If they come after me then so be it, but they deserve to live as much as I do. I want as many of us that still remain to live.” She added, her voice taking a determined tone. Her resolve was clear, she would survive, ignoring the bloody path that had been laid out before her, ready to clear her own way through the thick brush to find her own solution.

Violeta continued running and running, dashing around and occasionally over other people who kept getting in her way. She wasn't gone for a terribly long amount of time but it did take a while. She hoped that Eremita wasn't suffering too much in the meantime. Finally, as Eremita was explaining about her very unusual family dynamic Violeta came back in range to hear her.

As Eremita finished talking Violeta skidded to a stop about 12 feet or so from her. "I got some meds but they were stupid and only gave me enough for you to get back there and i'm sorry." The words flooded out of her mouth without a pause until she was done as if she didn't want to waste even a moment on breathing. She held out the bottle with the small number of pills in it as she slowly approached even closer. Showing she was actually helping.

While she was holding the pill bottle for Eremita to take she turned her hooded face up to look Eremita in the eye. It probably wasn't possible to tell that exactly because she was covered but it felt like the right thing to do. In the softest, friendliest tone she could muster she tried to comfort the girl. "I don't have a family anymore but I think it's great you want to find a way to have you all live without killing each other. I'm a vampire so I guess you cold say I found a way to extend my life. Or my undead life anyway." There wasn't even the hint of uneasiness about the topic. In fact she seemed reasonably upbeat in a comforting sort of way. "I think I would be happy to help you if I can but I don't know if there's much I can do."

Violeta also turned to Eli. "Thanks for staying here to help keep her safe dude whose name I don't know. Maybe you can keep helping her get to the infirmary with me? Unless you have something you need to do." She was being friendly and she really did want him to come at least keep them company as they walked. Violeta liked having people around, and not just because it meant better feeding. She actually liked meeting all the cool people on the island and trying to make friends with them.

Eremita's introduction made Eli unsure. Did she not meet new people often? Otherwise, she had to be young mentally. When he thought about it, the name resonated with something he read. "Eremita? That's um, Latin for... something, right?" Eli looked away, trying to remember.

Her own family is trying to kill her, so it must be hard for her to trust new people. Her initial actions make sense now, especially with him getting too close earlier. Violeta's arrival removed the chance for him to ask about it, and the way she talked about her lack of family was quite lax. In times like this, Eli was thankful he couldn't remember any sort of a family. They seemed more trouble than they were worth. "I'm not sure how I can help either, but I will try."

He rotated his head upwards to look to Violeta, he only now noticed was a vampire in the daylight. "Eli. And I'm more than happy to help." He got to his feet. "Yeah, I'll come with you two."

“Thank you…” Eremita said quietly, taking the bottle, counting the number inside. As the girl had explained there wasn’t the usual amount in here, just enough to get by for an hour or two. Screwing off the cap, she tossed her head back, taking all five of the pills, more than the normal regular dosage. She was capable of doing so due to her increased body mass, even with so much of it missing.

She sat there for a while, allowing the painkillers to kick in while she listened to the others. “So she’s a vampire… I suppose that explains the cloak…” She thought to herself, looking between the two when they offered to help, thinking for a moment. They were friendly, but that didn’t mean they were friends. However, the girl had gotten her pills rather then just leaving her there, and the boy had listened to her words to stay away, so maybe they deserved a chance. “While I’m uh… I’m not sure what you can do to help me either, I-I… Please take care of me!” She said, blurting out the last part as she stood up, a burst of smoke spewing out of one of the exhaust pipes as she lifted herself. A chorus of moving metal rang out, pistons moving, gears turning, like a steam engine starting. After a moment, the noise decreased as boiler pressure had returned to an acceptable level for movement. “That's more like it.” The cyborg said to no one in particular, feeling energized now that she was back to standard functions.

“I’m surprised you knew it was latin, not many people would recognize it, especially for your age… If you are as old as you look. I know that a lot of the people here aren’t the age they look, myself and siblings included.”
She said to the other boy, her natural shyness and paranoia pushed to the side by her curiosity. “It means hermit. If you couldn’t tell, I’m a hermit crab demon… Or at least under all this metal I am.” She explained, offering each of them both a hand and claw. “I can carry you guys there as thanks, whats a few extra pounds for someone weighing over two tons after all.” She said, her voice rather cheery compared to before, although her expression didn’t change.

Violeta adjusted her cloak a little as she watched Eremita take the pills. She had no idea whether that was a normal amount of pain medication or not. She assumed it was ok though because they had only given enough for the girl to get to the infirmary. It was a little rude to pop back in right in the middle of the conversation between the two people but Violeta was fairly certain they wouldn't care. Plus they didn't really seem to be in that deep of a chat.

She was about to say she would be happy to take care of her but she never got the chance. As Eremita began to stand up the cacophony of loud metallic noises as various parts of her began shifting and grinding was far, far too much for Violeta to bear. She had no warning to even put her earplug in before the deafening noise washed over her and sent her crumpling to the ground with a pained yelp. She curled up into the fetal position and frantically covered her sensitive ears. Adding to her pain was the fact that in her haste to cover her ears part of her left hand had accidentally become exposed to the sunlight and it felt like it was boiling. In response she shifted and rolled a bit to cover the hand with her hooded head. "Ow ow ow ow. Make it stop, make it stop, make it stop please," she was crying helplessly as the noise and pain left her on the ground.

As the noise stopped her crippling pain started to subside too but it lingered long enough and gave her enough ringing in her ears for her to be far too distracted to hear the discussion about latin or where Eremita's name had come from. Neither did she see the extended claw for aside from the distraction her face was buried in the cloak. She was just recovered enough to hear the offer to be carried but she didn't quite know how to respond yet.

He wasnt sure if she should have actually taken them all at once, but Eli wasn't going to say anything about it, especially if it did help with the pain.

As she stood up, the noise made him step back. "How much power does-" His question was cut short as Violeta cried out. The noise hurts her, Eli realised as she collapsed. Panicking, he accidentally activated his power.

[Timestop Activated]

Realising what he had done, he took a few deep breaths and tried to calm down. He had to get more control over it. It was hard enough playing sports without everyone freezing. As an afterthought, Eli draped his jacket over her head. If nothing else it should block out the sun.

[Timestop Deactivated]

While he was still worried about Violeta, Eli still had to answer to Eremita's proposition. "I'll be fine, but I think we should carry her. She might need to go back to the infirmary." He knelt down, should he pick her up, or leave it to Eremita?

((Tell me if the Timestop was too much godmoding, I'm still getting the hang of RPing it))

Eremita watched in shock as the other girl collapsed to the ground, frantically waving her arms and looking around. Was it an attack? There was no projectile or visible physical damage so that must mean that its a psychic attack right? There was only one sibling of hers which could do something like this, but then she wouldn’t be able to see her, or hand her the pills if that did happen. Was something else targeting her? Maybe someone was hunting this girl? Did metal attacks even work on the undead? Thoughts ran through her head at a blinding, erratic pace. This girl had just helped her, so she should at least return the favor.

The boy moved. He didn’t walk, or run, or jump. He was just somewhere else all of a sudden, his jacket on the girl. She hadn’t blinked, she couldn’t blink. “W-what did you just do? How are you… You were just… What?” The girl asked, pointing between Eli and where he had just been. Even with a family like hers with all sorts of powers, she was still inexperienced in the range of capabilities some of the islanders possessed. Her integral knowledge was that of a 13 year old, but it was generally what a 13 year old from the narrow reality would know. She shook her head, deciding now was not the time to be worrying about something like that.

A hand reached back, opening a small hatch and pulling out a waterproof tarp that she used as a raincoat, laying it down on the ground with her feelers. Her claws reached out, lowering themselves to ground level and moving under the girl, tearing up some of the dirt and grass as she did so. Folding the tarp with her feelers into a small, cocoon like pod around the girl, she grabbed the two ends with her claws, moving to the entrance that Violeta had taken to get to the infirmary.

“Eli, come on. I won’t be able to open doors as much as I need to without my claws. My arms wont reach enough to open them for my legspan and my feelers aren’t strong enough.” She said in a serious, almost commanding tone, using the boys name for the first time, her determination to preserve life showing through once more.

((I think that was a fine way to use the power))

Even as Violeta had rolled over to try to protect her exposed hand suddenly things were weird for a moment. It felt like something had been put over top of her head. Actually it would have been more accurate to say it was just there. There was no sense that it had fallen onto or been placed on her. Also she could tell that the boy was in a different position than he had been. His emotions were coming from a different direction and he had to have moved closer. It was a very strange sensation. From her perspective it was like he and whatever was on her head teleported there.

Violeta was just gathering her thoughts again when The others mentioned carrying her to the infirmary. Why do they need to carry me? I'll just lie here and...

At that moment something large moved near and under her and before she could say anything she was bundled up in some sort of material and being hauled away like someone folding a leftover cookie into a napkin to take with them. ...they don't know I heal!

Violeta wriggled around in her uncomfortable makeshift cocoon a little bit. The trip took longer for the others to get to the building than it had for Violeta of course but by the time they were getting ready to enter she was recovered enough so that the pain had died down and ringing had mostly stopped. "Um, excuse me," her voice came out fairly muffled through the layers of material but she didn't want to risk raising her voice too loud in case her ears were still hurt. "I'll be ok I think. I heal real good. Either way I feel kinda like a hot pocket and that's weird." She wasn't angry at them for the pain or for deciding to carry her to the infirmary. The pain was something she should have expected and she had earplugs in her pocket for just such a reason. As for the carrying? Well she appreciated that the two strangers were so willing to help her however they could. It was nice to know they cared.

Though the emotions being given off by the two were tasty she really just wanted a moment to collect herself. "If you could put me down somewhere not sunny please. I don't know how covered up I am with all this stuff all around me."
