
Kat's eyes narrowed a little as she took her shoe back from him and returned it to its proper place on her foot. That felt better. She gave the male a once-over. 'Working on it', sure. Perhaps he should work a bit harder. It was just bad manners to go chasing a defenseless cat in the middle of a precious nap in the sun.
"What are you?" she asked him, scenting the air. He smelled like dog, and...something else she couldn't quite place. It wasn't a death-like smell, like John. She wasn't sure what that scent was supposed to be. "Some kind of weird dog is my best guess. I can't see I've ever seen a dog shifter with horns, though. Not a werewolf, definitely. Those smell different." She crossed her arms and stared at him thoughtfully, trying to figure it out.
