"He is NOT a weakling."

He just continued smirking. "But isn't he?" Tristan replied. A question like that would probably end up being frustrating... ah, he was loving this!

"And I...um...I doubt he'd ever call me sweetie unless he had a very good reason to."

The winged male laughed darkly. "Oh, but he HAS a reason, dear," he said. He was only using a term of endearment to tick her off, since it had worked so well before.

As soon as she hit her head and went unconscious, Tristan through his head back, pointed at her, and started cackling. This was just great! Unfortunately, though, the sound of the explosion made Damien awaken. It didn't take long for the kinder of the two to figure out what was happening, and seeing Brielle unconscious frightened him.

Without even a warning, he took over, acting more quickly than he had before. Surprisingly, his limited strength increased and he was able to keep Tristan at bay as he ran to her side.

The computer was on fire, and he hoped that no one would find them. It was probable, though.

Damien took her shoulders and shook her gently. "Brielle? Brielle, wake up!!" he urged quietly.

Brielle could vaguely hear Tristan talking. Then she could feel someone shaking her and someone talking to her. Yet she still didn't wake up.

The girl sat up. "Okay. I have three questions. One: Who are you? Two: Where am I? Three: WHO am I?" She put a hand to her forehead. "Four: Why am I wet?" She coughed from smoke inhilation.

Brielle-if that really was her name- looked at Damien-if that really was his name- incredulously. "What's Starlight Academy? Why was I unconcious?" Her jaw dropped. "Oh my gosh! What if you're like, a mass murderer or something? Or like, a serial killer!? Please tell me you're not going to kill me!" She looked around for some sort of weapon.

Damien took a few steps back and put his hands up. "Trust me, I'm not a serial killer," he said. He wasn't brave enough to kill someone. "I got you out of there." He pointed back the computer lab. The fire was diminishing, but it was still there, and the room was still filled with smoke.

"And you were unconscious because the explosion somehow made you go out..." He was unaware of the details, since, after all, he hadn't been awake at the time.

"Yeah, so you could KILL ME!" Brielle yelled, scooting backwards. She started to stand, but she got dizzy. She sat back down and closed her eyes.

"And you were unconscious because the explosion somehow made you go out..."

"You probably set it so you could kill me!" Brielle was obviously dillusional and making no sense at all.

This was getting way out of hand, and both of the boys knew it. "I've never killed anything in my life, nor do I plan on it," Damien informed her. "And besides... why would I save you if I wanted you dead?"

"And Tristan set the bomb, not me!" It was going to be difficult explaining that one again...

"And besides... why would I save you if I wanted you dead?"

Brielle sighed with exasperation and she threw her hands up. "I don't know! You're the criminal mastermind here!!"

"And Tristan set the bomb, not me!"

Brielle's jaw dropped. "You HIRED someone to kill me!?"
