Officer Vaughan internally winced at the thought of having to read that kind of mail but she kept her face professional. "All good details for me to forward on to the detectives. You never know which things are coincidence and which are key details that might make the case. It's entirely possible they might have nothing to do with the incident. But if so they might have seen who did."

Aria added more and more notes as they spoke. "I know this is difficult and I appreciate you being willing to talk about all of this with me Ma'am. If you still have any of the letters or perhaps emails and such the detectives would probably like to take a look. For now though, perhaps we should all have a seat somewhere?" She suggested upon noting the body language of Rosemary and several others around the room.

Other officers were arriving now to take statements and interview others in the room and detectives were overseeing the officer taking pictures outside, soon to be coming in to take over the investigation.

"If there's anything else you want to tell me or if you just need someone to call if you are nervous i'm sure the detectives will give you their numbers but here's my business card as well. And i'm sure we can arrange for safe transportation home for anyone who wants it, after the detectives have finished."

Pietro finally strolled into the building proper, rubbing the back of his neck in agitation as he did. He took a moment to stop and comfort a few of the more visibly distressed vampires. He did this, making his way across the room towards Natasha and Arianell, and making sure that everyone had something to do or drink to help their nerves.

"Hello again. I explained the situation to the few humans who were standing around, that they need to stay around for your fellow officers to interview. They shouldn't cause any trouble. Now, what else do we need to do?"

Officer Vaughan turned back to Natasha after finishing with rosemary and accepted the flash drive. "I'm sure that will be fine. And if not, I'm sure people far smarter than me can help get to the important moments on the footage," she joked a little in hopes of easing some of the tension.

And then of course Mr Popov was back with them so she turned to be facing both of them. "I think for the most part the rest of the investigation is going to be handled by the detectives. They're on scene now and should be coming in any moment. As I was explaining to Ms. Cook, if anyone here would like safe transport home after the detectives have finished their questions we are more than happy to provide it."

Pietro nodded in agreement with Natasha, turning a tired smile to the police officer. "And again, I am sorry for my outburst earlier. I have just worked for a very long time to bridge the gap between the human community and ours, and it's just exhausting to see that even today such regressive ideas and tactics persist."

He put his hand on Natasha's shoulder comfortingly, chewing on his lip in something like nervousness. He hadn't been directly in the path of this kind of bigotry in a long while.

Officer Vaughan glanced between them and nodded. "I understand. Of course you know I have to officially ask you to let us handle discovering the culprits and bringing them into custody. If you need me I'll be over there making a few phone calls for a bit."

Then she excused herself to step away and leave them to whatever they needed to discuss as she moved on with what was sure to be a long night of paperwork, and possibly transportation too.

"Of course, officer. I am at your disposal should you need me."

"Ah, it's fine. Personal concerns take a back seat to ensuring that we can live peacefully." Pietro petted Natasha's hair and gave her a soft, reassuring smile. He was concerned, of course. Nothing of this scale had happened in a while. There had been that graffiti a couple of years back at that murder scene, but that had turned out to just be a cover up for a non-hate murder.

"How about you sit down. Have a rest. And a drink. I'll take care of the details around here, and we can figure out what our next move is when we're all feeling a bit less shaken."
