He'd step into the old cabin, if it could be called that, with only two walls left and no roof. He'd come here often to vent, to try and satisfy the voices, now he was here to get rid of them.

Rowan would glance back as Alt and Index entered, he didn't like eldritch but they'd agreed to help. Plus, he felt like he was out of options, therapy was working, the school's methods just were enough.

"Ok, let's get started," he'd pull out some chalk and notes and would go about drawing the ritual circle. "You have the knife?" he'd ask Alt.

Altizica and Index were certainly interested to see how this would all turn out. Index had never seen this ritual performed first hand and was excited to see what might happen because of it. Altizica however was just there for the ride at this point, they had no further incentive besides just watching this.

Altizica gave a wide, shit eating grin and gave the knife he had brought with him to the kid. “Here ya go bud, best of luck.” Index piped up as Alt handed the kid the knife “Indeed, these sort of rituals are very rarely performed. And those that do typically do not end well.”

He'd eye Alt a bit before taking the knife and slipping it into his belt. "Let's be honest....almost nothing involving this stuff ends well," he'd tell Index as he stared to draw on the symbols.

"If this does work though......," he'd trail off, either it worked or he died, either way he wouldn't ever become a threat to his friends. "Either way, things get resolved tonight I guess."

Rowan would make his away around the circle, copying the symbols over from his notes. He'd stand with a sigh, looking over everything.

Alt laughs a little and backs away to go to where Index was curled up. Alt looked down at the eldritch and whispered so only they could hear him. “So what happens if this works? If the two of them are separated. Would that bring the one inside him into the outside world?” Index thought carefully about this, calculating the possibilities. “If it does, I trust you will deal with them how you see fit. I doubt they care for acting civil on the island.” Altizica gave a wide toothy grin at that and continued to watch Rowan copy the symbols over.

Rowan would glance at the eldritch pair, squinting a bit. "What are you tap whispering about?" he'd ask, not liking the idea of them potential keeping secrets while he did this.

He'd finish the symbols and would start on adding in the eldritch texts around the edge. "Everything look ok to you Index?" he didn't like the serpent, but at least he knew about the magic more than he did.

The two Eldritch looked back as Rowan called them out on their whispering. Altizica said nothing so Index was the one to speak up. “We are merely discuss what might occur if this ritual works as it is intended. And as far as I can tell these symbols look accurate.”

He'd sigh. "Guess it'll depend on whether or not it can survive outside my body at this point," he hoped it couldn't. "If it can....well...," he'd frown, "we'll deal with it." He certainly wouldn't hesitate to incinerate it if he still had his abilities.

Rowan would finish the circle, tossing the chalk to the side, he'd draw the knife. "Ok....let's get started."

If Rowan was really going to go through with Ritual 2: Electric Boogaloo, Rhett knew exactly where it might be. At one point it might have been a house, but all that was left was foundation and scorch marks. Rowan had shown him the place a few months ago, Rhett took mental note of each turn the trail back took. No real walls made it a great site for testing out all the stuff his teachers warned him about. Safe to say, he knew exactly how to get there.

The trouble was getting there before Rowan pulled anything stupid all while ruining a perfectly good wheelchair. At least if worse came to worse, Lizzy could probably possess Rowan to stop him from fucking himself over. He was pretty sure Lizzy weighed less than the wheelchair itself, but it was still rough getting through the rockier parts of the trail. Rhett was sweating bullets by the time they were on the last few twists of the trail. They were actually going pretty fast for two sickly teenagers. Sure, it was laughable compared to his track times in middle school, but holding onto the wheelchair kept him from tripping over himself and Lizzy had only fallen out once.

“ Alright toothpick arms, almost there… you ready?” He asked, slipping a plastic contraption from his pocket and slamming it onto the ground. It expanded into the bat he showed earlier. He hoped he wouldn’t have to use it, but, you know, just in case.

Lizzy

Lizzy was really starting to regret agreeing to ride the wheelchair. Especially if the bruises and bloody nose were anything to go by from when she'd fallen out. Rhett apparently didn't know the meaning of the words "be careful." Thank fuck for her healing, or else they'd be screwed.

Thankfully it seemed the worst parts of the trail were over, and she could just start to make out a house. Or rather what was left of one. "Are you sure that's the place?" She asked, rolling her eyes at toothpick arms. "Yeah, I'm ready. 4 eyes." She snapped at him as they came to a stop.

Wincing as she climbed out of the wheelchair, she took a deep breath to prepare for whatever was coming. "So, Should we just rush him?" Lizzy asked, eyeing the bat. She understood why Rhett had brought it, and if she had more strength, she probably would have brought her own. Hopefully they could stop Rowan without it, and without her possessing him. But best to hope for the best, and prepare for the worst.

" Dunno, probably? There’s no time for a strategy. If we had more time, I’d pimp out the wheelchair. Make an eject button so we could launch you right out of the chair and straight at Rowan like some freaky soul stealing pop up toy.” Rhett replied, gesturing the throwing action with his free hand.

“ We don’t have that kind of time, so… whatever it takes to make sure he gets out safe.” His grip on the bat tightened, as the two of them began to walk into towards the house.

There was murmurs coming within the house and Rhett recognized that accent just about anywhere. He looked at Lizzy then nodded towards the house, she must have heard it too. As they got closer, Rhett heard two more voices, one of them sounded familiar. Rhett hoped to god it wasn't who he thought it was. After a few words in the community center, Rhett chalked up Index to be full of shit. The kind of person who saw humans as playthings wasn't going to be looking out for Rowan's safety, so why did Rowan have them around? It wasn’t just Michi, apparently Rowan’s common sense had also broken up with him.

" Rowan! You here?" He yelled out.
