Shasta stood in front of a stall with a couple of carrots rubbing the nose of a beautiful paint horse. His name plate said that his name was "Fire"
What a cute name... she said smiling. She put another carrot in her hand fingers together and her thumb against her palm so that Fire wouldn't accidentally nip her fingers and put the carrot in front of his nose. He took it gratefully and sniffed her head.
She giggled and petted his nose, and moved to the side of the stall, sat down and put in the ear buds of her iPod listening to her favorite Rent songs. First off La Vie Boheme. After that Seasons of Love. She smiled, closed her eyes and sang along.

Shasta pulled out her ear buds and smiled.
She didn't care that the girl had heard her singing, she knew she wasn't very good, but that was okay.
Yeah, have you seen it? she asked. Rent was one of her favorite movies, maybe someone here would share her love.

Although, I won't go riding in converse. she said and picked up a pair of riding boots and changing shoes, then she grabbed her tan colored cowboy hat and put Fire's bridle on leading him outside. She leaned her face up towards the sky and smiled as the sun hit her face. It was still pretty cold, but at least sunny.
She mounted Fire.
