Broen Animositas

Hell was, by and large, good to Broen. He stands much taller than he did his first time through the wringer, being 6'3" with a slightly more muscular frame than he had before.

He sports short black hair with a streak of white near the front that he wears pushed back. His right eye looks normal and has a greenish blue iris. His left eye has a blood red sclera and a solid white iris. His left eyebrow is also white. He bears none of the scars that he had in his first life.

Demon Form

When he adopts his stolen demonic form, Broen becomes even larger, standing at just over 8' tall with broad shoulders and heavy musculature.

Dark gray skin like leather is accentuated by dark blue patches of snake-like scales. Most of his body is covered in short, coarse black fur like a wolf's. His legs are mildly digitigrade and end in a pair of long, serrated claws. He has four long, muscular arms that end in similarly clawed hands.

His head is vaguely human-like, but his snout blends seamlessly with his upper lip, giving him a bestial appearance. He has two eyes on the left side of his face but has none on his right side. His mouth is full of massive, bright red fangs.

Disguised Human Form

In this form, Broen takes the form of a rather mundane looking human man in his early twenties. He has neck length black hair and features that could be considered somewhat regal. His eyes are piercing red and he bears a deep but attractive scar running up his left cheek to his temple. His body shape tends towards lithe and athletic, like a gymnast. In this form he wears designer suits and ties and well shined leather shoes. This form also sports intricate red tattoos along the left side of his body, mostly hidden under his clothes.

Broen has mellowed out, as much as one can mellow out when they were as irrationally angry as he was. He is still a shit disturber, still enjoying the little thrill of watching people get riled up. But now at least it serves a function for him. He still loves to cook and fight and cause trouble, he's still a bit of a man-whore, and he's still vulgar and irreverent. Really, he's the same old Broen, just a little more stable.

Active
Mind if I Borrow This?
If Broen witnesses the effects of or is affected by a supernatural or metahuman ability, he can copy that specific ability with the same parameters as the person who used it. He can only have three such ability at a time. It takes him three minutes to purge one abilities from himself. If he currently has three abilities he must take the time to purge one before he can obtain a new one.

He cannot have more than one transformation ability at a time. If a form he takes has further abilities (such as a dragon who can only breathe fire in their dragon form) he does not get those secondary abilities. He also cannot copy abilities that he cannot understand, such as the abilities of Eldritch creatures or beings with a power base too big fir him (such as a powerful deity).

• Changeling
  Broen can change his body into any form he wishes at will. The upper limit on how large he can become is the size of a draft horse, while the lower limit is as small as a typical Barbie doll. He can grow additional limbs, change the layout of his body, alter his coloration or skin to have fur or scales. These changes are largely cosmetic: growing an additional set of arms will allow him to perform more tasks at once, but turning into a fish will not allow him to breathe underwater. By and large, no matter what form he takes his abilities do not change.

Passive
Rile You Up
Broen has a degree of power over people who are angry. Anyone who fights him will find that their strength will sap proportionally to how angry they are. This caps out at just under Broen's natural strength, meaning you will be just weak enough to not be able to overpower him.

More or Less a Demon
Broen won't die of old age or even grow old. He will age but never degrade past his peak. He will also live twice as long as a human should, barring outside circumstances.

Wear Your Hurt Like Armor
Broen is durable enough to withstand mid-caliber gunfire with only some bruising and fall from three stories without breaking a bone.

A Special Request
Broen is completely immune to the Metahuman abilities of Fredrick Crawford.

Weakness
More or Less a Demon
Holy water, while not actually burning Broen, hurts like it does. And he cannot get within ten feet of a religious symbol wielded by a true believer. He will also catch fire if he steps foot on holy or consecrated ground.

The end of Godfrey Broen was the beginning of Broen Animositias. Lost to Hell for his sins, his lack of faith, and his life of hatred and rage, Broen was like so many other souls. Tied to the rack to be tormented for all eternity. Only his cries weren't ones of anguish, but of anger. He cursed his captors out, spit in their faces. In one demon's words, "even for someone damned to hell, he's really fuckin angry."

It didn't take long for this particular prisoner to garner the attention of the Prince of Wrath, Satan. He saw and recognized Broen as one of his son, Roa's friends. His shackles were removed and he immediately decked the demon who had been poking him with a stick.

He and Satan talked at length, more like shouted and cursed at each other in a somehow productive manner. He was given a deal: he could leave Hell. But he would have to fight his way out. Broen barely gave Satan time to finish his sentence before he was up and punching the first other demon he could see. And getting killed. And reviving. And doing it all over again. Each time he lost and revived, he changed in small increments. At some point he strong armed a lower ranked demon into helping him fix his eye so it wouldn't be handicapping him anymore.

Eventually, he crawled his way out of Hell, shouting a thank you punctuated with insults back at the Big Guy Downstairs. New and improved, Broen brushed himself off and headed off to see what city he was in and what he needed to do to get back to Manta Carlos. Which he did by causing just enough of a stink that the Scouts came looking for him.

He lives in a small apartment and takes basic level arena fights to make enough money to pay his rent and all that.
