"Dance." replied Ian as he made a gesture with his fingers to show someone dancing.

Token's ears perked and his eyebrows shot up. He knew what dance ment! He liked to dance, but hadn't done it in forever.

"Dance?!" He asked, leaping up, excited. "Token love dance!" He said, skipping around lightly on his toes, dancing alone and humming some song off key.

"Yes, all them people dance!" said Ian trying to understand what he himself was saying and hoping it was simple enough for Token. "They dance togther, boys and girls." said Ian gesturing two people dacnign with his hands.

Token frowned again, cocking his head to the side. He knew the words, knew them somewhere in the back of his mind, but couldn't remember...

"What is... boys and girls?" He asked, tail drooping and hoping that Ian wouldn't think him stupid for forgetting.

"Um..wow" Ian thought for a second how he was going to put this.. "Boys, me and you." Ian hoped Token understood while he looked around and spotted a girl walkign towards the school. Ian pointed at her, "Girl." and then looked to Token to see if he understood.

Token's eyes lit up, remembering. "Girls have babies!" He said, as if letting Ian in on The World's Biggest Secret.

Ian started craking up, "Yes, yes they do." Ian continued to laugh at Token's statement.

"Yes." Token said, grinning and wagging his tail.

Then, he looked at the door leading into the 'dance'. "Eyan take Token to dance?" He asked, looking up at the other, hope in his eyes.

"Well." Ian chuckled at the way Token had worded that, "I will show you where it is, but using the term "Take someone" implies that you want to be their date."

Token's ears drooped, confused and discouraged with all the words that Ian had used. "What is... 'date'?"
