Ian opened the door of the school and walked out onto the lawn. He had been at the dance for a little while, but decided he really had nothing to do there. Ian put his hands in the pockets of his suit jacket and walked over to a nearby bench where he sat down and ran his hand through his hair as he looked up at the sky.

Token sat in a tree, swinging bare feet beneath him. He was currently wondering why all the humans were inside... He daren't go in, not with an invitation. Not that he wanted to go in, really. Token was a creature of the wilderness, open air and freedom. But he was also curious.

Which is why, when he saw a boy walk outside, he lept down from the tree and decided to go and try to converse with this human. He walked swiftly, bare feet silent on the ground, tail held at a friendly angle behind him.

Carefully, he lept up and balanced on the back of the bench, bending his face down a mere inches from Ian, and grinning a somewhat friendly smile, teeth more fangs than anything.

OOC: I am assuming he is a wolf cuz thats what your sig says

BIC: Ian looked at the wolf who was behind the bench. At first, he was a little freaked out. "Umm...hello." Ian said Looking at and hoping it was a friendly wolf.

OOC: Oh, no, Token isn't a wolf, just thinks he is XD He's a feral scientific expiriment, half dog, half boy.

Token grinned and cocked his head to the side, ears twitching. "Umm... Hello." He mimicked, not having a firm grasp of the english language. He pointed to himself, and said, very seriously, "Token." And for him, that was as much introduction he needed.

Then he cocked his head to the other side, looking at Ian pointedly, as if silently asking what his name was.

OOC: sorry bout that, my bad,

BIC: Ian looked at Token. Assuming that Token had said his name like that for a reason, Ian said it the same way, pointed at himself, "Ian." he said.

OOC: Oh no, its all good.

IC: Token frowned at the odd sounding name. He'd never met anyone named 'Ian' before. "Eeyan?" He said, sounding it out very carefully. "Why Eyan outside?" He asked, looking to the door the other just left from, then back at Ian.

Ian didn't know if Token would understand if he spoke perfect english, so he tryed to speak the way Token had, "I outside because I bored inside."

Token frowned his confusion. "Bored? What is... bored?" He asked, shifting so that he sat on the bench instead of balencing on the back.

"It means, not having things to do, or other people to hang out with." Ian couldn't think of how to simply phrase that, so he said it slow, word by word.

Token didn't know what 'hang out with' ment, but he decided not to ask. He didn't like forever asking what things ment. He merely shrugged, then looked at the building, forgetting that he didn't want to ask questions. "Why people inside?" He asked, thinking about the insanity of people, forever closed in doors, doing everything inside.
