Raye sat at one of the tables near the lake, bored out of her mind. She knew almost no one there, and had no one to talk to. No one else in her family had powers, and they all thought she was special and had a gift.
Yeah, it's a gift alright. she thought sarcasticly to herself. She tied her light blue hair into a pony tail, amazed at how hot it was outside. She looked at the water, deciding whether or not to swim.

Beatrice had been outside near the lake, just lying down at the edge of it and drawing little circles on the surface of the clear water, when she noticed a girl not too far off sitting at a table all by herself. The unknown female had blue hair, surprisingly enough, that she was bringing up into a ponytail. Not everyday you see a girl with blue hair. Beatrice thought to herself with an arched brow. Then again pink hair isn't all that normal either. She continued mentally with a roll of her eyes as she stood to her feet and pulled her own bright colored hair into a ponytail such as the blue haired girl has done. It was, after all, quite hot outside... and the long thick pink hair Beatrice had chosen today wasn't helping. Reguardless, She was too lazy to change it.

"Hello." The seventeen year old girl said, walking up to Raye with a blank expression. The girl on the table looked to be around fifteen, and bored. "Don't believe we've met, I'm Beatrice." She said, drying her slightly wet hand off on her old and baggy jeans. Then quickly extended the hand towards Raye for a formal handshake.

After shaking the girls hand, Raye had offered Beatrice to sit down. Odd. She thought to herself, refraining from raising a brow. "Er- Sure." Beatrice replied, and casually sat down. "Blue dye?" She questioned, getting another glance at Raye's hair color. This amused her, and interested her. Maybe, just maybe, this girl had the same "powers" as Beatrice. Yeah, right. She thought sarcastically, crossing a leg over the other as she waited for a response from Raye.

Beatrice nodded, Still slightly confused about Raye's hair color. How can it be... natural? She thought to herself, but shook the question from her brain as she turned back to the girl to answer her question. "I've been here maybe a few weeks." Beatrice replied, giving a slight sigh. "Not long enough to actually get to know people. I've only met... well, nobody actually. The teachers don't really count." She continued, giving a slight smirk. "What about yourself?"

Jack appeared again, this time in the middle of the lake. "Where am-" Jack said just before going under. Aww crap...I bet those two saw me too... he swam towards where the 2 sat.

Beatrice blinked. No wonder this girl looked bored, she didn't have anyone to talk to since she practically just got here. "Three days... Guess you've met loads of friends then." Beatrice said, sarcastically, as she propped an elbow on the table and gave a small smirk towards the girl.

It was then that Beatrice noticed Raye's gaze was currently on the lake... Someone in the lake to be exact. What the heck? She questioned herself, raising a brow in confusion as she attempted to identify the person.

It was a boy, and from the looks of it he was near around thirteen years old. "That's odd. I never saw anyone enter the lake." Beatrice said to herself, then turned to Raye with a smug look. "Suppose he's one of your little friends?" She questioned, having merely a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
