Marine made popping noises as she browsed through the shelves. She was bored. Very bored. So bored that normal boredness seemed like the most interesting thing possible.
Ok, So I've gone through History, Magic, Spells and Whatnot, Fantasy, and Biographies. That leaves just half of the library.
Marine had been hanging around here all day, but it seemed like there was nothing to read... Untill she came upoun a book. Shapeshifting; What To Do When BoredShe grinned and slipped into a seat, giggling uncontrolably.

A female figure stomped into the library. If looks could kill, anyone and everyone in that room probably would have been dead already. There was a furious scowl on her face and her whole presence just gave away that she did not have the patience to talk to anyone.

Adelina was mad. Really mad.

This plot for revenge was taking too long. Sidaj had killed her son and that witch was probably just sitting in her castle, eating ice cream and being joyous. And yet, here Adelina was, having suffer because Alexander was dead.

Well that wasn't going to happen. She was going to get book, look at battle plans, and she would take care of this thing herself if she had to.

Again stomping over to a section Marine was near, she started scanning books, brown eyes narrowed dangerously. She hadn't even noticed her friend yet because of how concentrated she was on getting revenge.

Marine looked up at the stomping.
"Addie!"
Marine closed her book and stood up.
"Whats up? Why the red face?"
Marine asked, starting to look a bit concerned.
"Adelina, is everything alright?"
She asked, pushing a brown lock out of her hair to show her concerned blue eyes.

Upon hearing her name, Adelina froze, muscles tense. Why did someone have to bother her? Was someone stupid enough to be bothering her right now?! Eyes turned to look at Marine, and she didn't even try to hide the fact that the other female was beginning to tick her off.

"What's with the red face? Is everything alright?" the mother mimicked, disgusted. "Let's use some common sense, Marine. Alex is dead. Do you THINK I would be alright?!" She was stating it as if the whole school knew about it, which really wasn't true. Adelina stared at her friend with grit teeth, trying not to blow up even more.

It wasn't Marine's fault, really. Adelina was just in a bad, bad mood.

Marine's eyes widdened.
"Oh, Addie... I'm so sorry..."
Marine shook her head. This was bad. Really bad. She dodn't know how Addie, felt, but Marine without Marious would be like a ghost. Barren and emotionless.
Marine started to pull Addie into a hug.

"Oh, Addie... I'm so sorry..."

She swallowed. "You should be," Adelina hissed. She closed her eyes tightly and took a deep breath, feeling a ball in her throat as her eyes were moist. She wasn't going to cry. The seventeen-year-old had promised herself that she wouldn't cry again.

But as Marine pulled her into that hug, Adelina's lower lip trembled and she buried her head in her friends shoulder, sobbing. "My little boy..." she mumbled, though the words sounded more like just a bunch of syllables since she was crying and had her face buried in Marine's shoulder. "I can't believe she killed him..."

((Ok, Is her son dead, or is it her husband?))

Marine patted Addie's back.
"Who killed Alex? Who is 'she'?"
Marine asked. She didn't want to bring back any bad memories, but Marine had to know if she was going to help Addie in any way.

Marine swallowed, or tried to, because her mouth was very dry. She didn't want Addie mad, but not sad, either. She wanted to help Addie with revenge, or at least, get her to calm down and get a stragetic plan to kill whoever killed Alex.

((OOC: DR, it's her son. Andrew is dead too, but I don't know if Nora is going to make a dying topic for him or not.))

—————————-

Adelina held onto her friend, taking a shaky breath. "Sidaj..." she squeaked out. "She's a witch who lives in the forbidden... she kidnapped Alex and..." At this point, the woman stopped. She tried to go on, but her voice got caught and she couldn't for a few moments. "And when I tried to kill her... I hit Alex instead..."

The mother's shoulders shook as she continued crying. She had blamed it all on Sidaj, but it was partly her fault too. And she would never forgive herself for it.

Marine closed her eyes.
"It's not your fault. Think back to exactly who started it. Sidaj. If she hadn't... you know, this wouldn't have happened, so its her fault... Y'know? I'll help ya. It shouldn't be to hard, but... uhh.... You get my meaning."

Marine knew she was speaking to lightly, but it was the only thing she could think of. She smiled softly.
"And, don't worry, I'll help you till the end."
