Rum wrung her hands together as she took in her newest toy. On the outside, it looked like a simple tube that one would launch a simple firework out of. Inside however, it was probably one of the most dangerous pyrotechnic devices on the island. The explosives-obsessed goblin had used her ability to separate several different types of firework, packing the tube full of explosives.
Wringing her hands and scampering back, Rum looked around at the forest clearing she was in. Calm and peaceful, the birds around chirping and singing. The goblin grinned, staring at the fuse that led to her creation. This was all going to change soon, and she couldn't wait. With a crazed grin spread over her face, Rum lit the fuse.
The fuse was also modified, of course, and shot off sparks of various colors as the flame burned down the green wire. Rum's eyes widened as the fuse disappeared into the tube...
And then the world exploded.
Well, it didn't really. A large fireball shot out of the tube, only travelling a few feet up before it detonated again, a bright colorful fireball spreading over hte clearing. Rum was knocked backwards by the force, slightly singed by the fire. The chirping of the birds was gone now, the spot that the firework tube used to sit now a smoking crater in the dirt.
The green skinned gal lay there before starting to laugh maniacally, stopping when she heard a voice from behind her.
"Uh...hello?"
She tilted her head backwards to look at the cat-boy, still laughing with a crazed grin on her face.
"Hellooooo there! Look what the cat dragged in! Heehee...Cmon Sass that was funny....Well excuuuuuse me!" She rambled as she got to her feet, dusting herself off as she looked the boy up and down.
"What're you lookin at?" She asked, putting out the small embers smoldering in her hair.

His ears twitched as he heard the crackle of fire works. The young cat-shifter had been walking outside, a quiet day, his nose twitched and he followed the scent of smoke. Curiosity killed the cat, but Edward was ignoring the old say.
