Okay, so this website and the name and the setting is original and copy-righted. I want to write a book on it, focusing on the character Imogen Moonflow, and publish it to Quotev and Wattpad, and then get myself a hard-cover book so I could show it to my friends and family (getting a hard-cover book of your writing is pretty easy in our country; there are publishers in almost every alley, who turn your writing in hard-cover copies as you please).
The book will have Manta Carlos and it's settings, and for that, I need permission. So, can I?
If yes, then can I just make slight differences in the atmosphere of Manta Carlos City? I have read this website's wiki, and I want Starlight Academy in my book to teach a different magic - the one that doesn't need wands or runes or incantations. We just have to focus and we can do it. But the focusing is hard. So, that's the difference. Can I make a book then, giving credits on first page?

Hey Thorn,

For something like this, it would be best for you to contact @Kyros directly, since that's his decision to make. He's on hiatus right now, but when he's back you should hear from him.

However, instead of doing that I would recommend using a similar setting of your own invention, with different names and such. That would be better for everyone involved. It seems like you have a specific vision in mind for how the island and the school should work in your own writing which conflicts with what we're doing. With your own setting you would get more creative freedom. As long as you're making your own setting and characters and you aren't copy/pasting any of our stuff, you wouldn't need anyone's permission.
