Book Club Party (open)

Euna snorted and gave Hari one fleeting, quizzical look. Gradually, she broke out into a fit of uncontrollable laughter, doubling up.

"Oh man, you make it sound like we're three years old!" she enunciated in between snorts. It took a while for her to calm down, but she did. Straightening up, Euna rearranged her scarf around her neck and spoke again to Hal, or rather groaned.

"But yeah, I did say sorry, are you happy? I swear I won't call you a kid anymore." <i>But you still aren't off the hook for earlier,</i> she silently added to the end of her confession. She glanced at Hari's expression for a moment, checking if he was any offended, before looking back at Hal.

Hal replied with a shrug, "Beats me. Those kinds of people somehow found me a target." He was only thankful he finally had his room back to himself. He couldn't imagine how life would be if his last roommate stayed for any longer.

Hal shoved away those thoughts at the back of his mind and turn his attention to the two in front of him. And the first thing he was greeted with was Hari trying to get them to apologize to each other. Like they were in kindergarten. Hal couldn't help but stifle a chuckle but Euna seemed to find it funnier and just started laughing.

For once, Hal didn't feel so upset about being treated like a child. Euna apologized but Hal was pretty sure there was something else to that. "I don't think I have anything to apologize for," Hal said. His gaze turned to Hari for a moment before he looked down. Tucking his hands into his pockets, he added,"But I guess I should say sorry for ignoring you... and being rude."

Euna had to muffle her laughter in her scarf as she was handed a piece of hard candy and petted on the head by Hari. Oh, man, this was seriously embarrassing but also hilarious as heck. Nonetheless, she promised herself never to talk about this outside of the library. Ever.

Finally, she calmed down enough to talk like a normal person.

"Yeah, it's okay. I won't talk about 'the thing' anymore," she added, putting 'the thing' in air quotes. "But you're still going to get wrecked in the watercolor workshop!" Euna trotted away from Hari and towards her abandoned books on a table. She swept them up in one arm and skipped towards the open door behind Hari, snatching up a couple of cookies from a nearby bowl as she went.

Hal almost couldn't restrain himself from laughing too hard when Hari gave Euna the candy from out of pocket. Somehow, he felt like a little girl had picked a fight with him but she was the first one to cry. Hal was going to remember this and use this against Euna one day.

Hal's eye's seemed to glimmer when Hari said the watercoloring workshop was next but then Euna had to speak up. "Yeah, I think we're all good now. So, yeah, I guess we 're going then," he said, chuckles in between. But more than being annoyed, he felt like he found another opportunity to turn the tables on her. "I wouldn't be too sure about that," he replied, following behind her.

Hal took a moment to wave at Hari before they entered the study room. He also somehow managed to sneak a handful of cookies from the other bowl.
