Bizarre Adventures: Demon Days

So, I was interested in running a mystery/serial killer plot line to spice things up a bit from normal high school rp.

To feel things out, as well as interest, I was planning to do a thread to set the scene and create some intrigue. I'm looking for a few other characters to be subjected to the strange occurances around town and help in unraveling the mystery identity of the serial killer striking fear in Mata Carlos. You don't need to have any real combat powers honestly, nor any real desire to do combat, since a fair portion of the long-term plotline I was planning would be more cerebral than a straight up chain of boss fights- though I was anticipating having a few of those as well when optimal.

If you're interested, link your character and I'll throw up the opening post once we have 2-3 people save for my own character, Cy. I'd rp him as well as DM the story to keep things flowing!

Nameless, either one of those work fine really. If push came to shove I'd say Rosetta ight be more useful since her premonitions/omens could be used better in storytelling and deus ex machina'ing some things that are too dumb to logic out. Plus we need the token 'smart girl with glasses' trope to round out our 80s gang of friends.

Saber, Jason is probably a better choice, though I'll say right now he wouldn't be the actual serial killer I'm afraid. If that dissuades you then Joeseph is still cool af!

Still, all that aside this is shaping up to be a cool plotline.

Nah, I'll be designing an NPC for use. However, for the first few plots I have planned we'd be dealing with some underlings and the like as we piece together the clues. Im a big believer in the Spielberg method of 'less is more' when it comes to good villain design.

I'll throw up the first post in a few hours, I'll be acting both as Cy as well as the DM. This first thread will have some combat in it as well as some puzzle solving vital to success/survival. I'm excited to have you all onboards!
