Mission? Reconnaissance. Objectives? Evaluate dragon activity within the area designated as "The Wilds". Cover story? Birdwatching.

It has been some that Snapshot had been tasked with checking the area's outside the city. They were more acclimated with a more urban setting but a forest was a welcome change of pace they supposed. Their attire made it so that stuck out like a sore thumb but Snapshot stealth wasn't a requirement regarding their mission parameters... in fact they prefer the attention regardless it was wanted or unwanted. While there were dragoons more suited for surveying in forested terrain, their numbers where few. Their enemies... many. If they were going to win this war on this earth... they needed information. Information on dragons, the landscape, enemy sympathizers and possible allies... anything for the tactical advantage to assure victory in the face of overwhelming odds as her kind had done before over... and over... and over again. To Snapshot... this mission... this cycle... was no different.

Their was shrill caw from above and with lightening reflex Snapshot spun their body to face the unknown threat! As her fingers crackled with electricity and her eye zooms onto a haggard raven croaking in its lonesomeness. The combat focus in her stance relaxes but she was still guarded for who knows from where the foe may strike when so deep in enemy territory.

"Ah my oh my... you spooked quite a bit you old crow!" chortled Snapshot, raising her camera to snap a photo of the crow with their camera and moved on. They were "birdwatching" after all so they might as well looked the part. The old crow then flew off, cawing and squawking while Snapshot moved onto to a forest clearing to find more interesting subjects to catch in the cross-hairs... of their camera.

Eein loved the forest, it was basically a second home to him, he spent much of his free time today. Like now, as he moved between the trees, running, his wings being kept tight against his back. He was currently at his smaller size, about ten feet tall, he didn't want to accidentally damage any of the trees

He'd slide to a stop as he entered a clearing, stretching a bit and shaking some leaves out of his fur. This wasn't a super strict training session, he was more enjoying the forest than anything else.

The dragon would tilt his head, his nose picking up an odd unfamiliar scent, and his ears picking up the sound of someone approaching. His tail would sway a bit and he'd stretch again, deciding to wait and see who it or what it was.

Though the gap between tree trucks Snapshot could make out the silver-blue outline of dragon; a fortuitous probability. Cross referencing indicates that particular dragon was no database entry on this individual. Their new goal; evaluate the threat level of the unknown enemy dragon. Update... dragon alert to presence... proceeding investigation with extreme caution.

"Ah... I see that you are no bird." stated Snapshot as they emerged from the foliage, their French accent as thick a cream. "Though your brilliant plumage could have fooled me! From afar I mistook you for a dove."

She then lets out a soft sigh, lowering her camera and adjusting her bonnet before she looks back up wearing a kindly smile.

"Mhmmm... thought it appears someone far greater than some mere feathered fowl... what may be the name of this... little dove that stands before me I wonder I do wonder? Prehaps you may enlighten me as to your nature... little dove?"

He'd watch as the attractive girl emerged, she looked human enough, but her scent was far from human. "A dove?......You thought I was a dove?" he'd ask, squinting at her a bit. "My fathers might be white....but I'm a giant reptile covered in fur, how the hell did you think I was a dove?" he'd ask with a snort, picturing a dove as big as him.

The dragon would tilt his head with a thoughtful hum, looking her over. "As for my nature, why so curious," the tip of his tail would tap on the ground.

"Not many people just walk up to dragons asking such odd questions," he'd lower his head to her. "So, why don't we start with an introduction, what's your name?".

Target Status: suspicious. This dragon seemed wary of her, as they should be...

"Ho ho ho hoh! Oh you should relax my feathered friend. I was only teasing with you. Its obvious that you are not a dove but dragon. Even the novice birdwatcher as myself wouldn't make that mistake, apologies if I cause caused some great offence to you." Snapshot just laugh, closing their eye as they place their hand over their mouth to hushen thier giggling. As her eye opens her gaze narrows as her mouth curls into a smirk.

"Not many people do just... waltz up to dragons and ask them silly questions but I am not most people if you cannot already tell. When I see something that catches my interest... why I just know all about it. Now as for my name, I am designated as FR017-10R504 though... you may call me Snapshot. Numbers and letters I understand are difficult to remember."

"Snapshot," he'd say with a thoughtful hum. "Yeah, the numbers and letters are more of a mouthful," he'd say, raising an eyebrow at the odd girl. "Whenever people have long names they usually go by nicknames."

"Speaking of which, why do you have those numbers and letters instead of a proper name?" he'd ask curiously, tilting his head. "Some sort of military thing? Or were you created in a lab? Or is it a bit of both?" they got all kinds on the island, nothing really surprised him anymore.

"Anyways, I'm Eein," he'd say, "what brings you here?"

"Assembled in a factory actually... it a unique serial designation based off as any other name. It's a useful identifier as any other." plainly answered Snapshot. When given his name, Snapshot smiles and approaches closer "Eein... a pleasure meeting you. As for my purpose here... well I have already stated multiple times: birdwatching~"

The machine then lets out a life-like chuckle, as they hold out their camera. Their eye briefly focusing on something lurking in the shadows before it returns its gaze onto Eein.

"Its something I thought I try myself to pass the time... being the shutterbug that I am. I work as a photographer so back in the city. Now what might bring you here in these woods? You wouldn't happen to live out here by yourself would you?" inquired Snapshot as they give Eein a curious head tilt, the bonnet on her head sagging to the side but manages to stay on her head.

"So you're a robot?" he'd sit back, his tail circling around himself like a cat, "huh, that's cool, and it's good to meet you too." Though he was still suspicious of her, she certainly was acting odd m, even a little sinister.

He'd hum in thought. "I just like it out here is all, the woods here are quite peaceful," not counting the forbidden forest that is, but no one expected a monster infested forest to be peaceful. "Its a nice place to come for a walk," or for hunting.

The dragon looked her over. "And what kinds of things are you usually hired to take pictures of?" he'd ask.

Snapshot looks around and nods in agreement. There was beauty to found here but also hidden dangers. While the most obvious one is standing in front of her, they can never to too complacent as to not expect tranquility be suddenly broken.

"Ah yes, there is something so serene about being in the middle of nature." commented Snapshot as they look back to Eein.

"Mhmm... whatever the clients require. People... places... expensive things. Anyone can take a picute... few can make it an art. Speaking of art... do you mind if take a photo of you. I know that you are no bird but... still just as remarkable to look at."

Snapshot then raises their camera and aims it at Eein, ready to take the shot.

He'd hum in thought, she seemed odd, but she was probably harmless. "Suuuuuuure, go ahead," he'd hold his pose, letting her take the photo. "A handsome dragon for your album," he'd say with a chuckle, settling onto the ground.

"So, you new to the island?" he'd ask, tilting his head. "There's lots of dragons here, so its usually only newcomers who get excited at seeing them." He'd look at her curiously, "though I am a particularly nice looking one."

Eein's tail would start to slowly sway in the grass. "It's always interesting talking to newcomers, see how they react to everything."
