Mission? Reconnaissance. Objectives? Evaluate dragon activity within the area designated as "The Wilds". Cover story? Birdwatching.
It has been some that Snapshot had been tasked with checking the area's outside the city. They were more acclimated with a more urban setting but a forest was a welcome change of pace they supposed. Their attire made it so that stuck out like a sore thumb but Snapshot stealth wasn't a requirement regarding their mission parameters... in fact they prefer the attention regardless it was wanted or unwanted. While there were dragoons more suited for surveying in forested terrain, their numbers where few. Their enemies... many. If they were going to win this war on this earth... they needed information. Information on dragons, the landscape, enemy sympathizers and possible allies... anything for the tactical advantage to assure victory in the face of overwhelming odds as her kind had done before over... and over... and over again. To Snapshot... this mission... this cycle... was no different.
Their was shrill caw from above and with lightening reflex Snapshot spun their body to face the unknown threat! As her fingers crackled with electricity and her eye zooms onto a haggard raven croaking in its lonesomeness. The combat focus in her stance relaxes but she was still guarded for who knows from where the foe may strike when so deep in enemy territory.
"Ah my oh my... you spooked quite a bit you old crow!" chortled Snapshot, raising her camera to snap a photo of the crow with their camera and moved on. They were "birdwatching" after all so they might as well looked the part. The old crow then flew off, cawing and squawking while Snapshot moved onto to a forest clearing to find more interesting subjects to catch in the cross-hairs... of their camera.
