The water was blue and lovely, the sun was beginning to set, all along the secluded section of the beach magical torches began to light, a trail of them lead up to the beach side manor. The owners of said manor had carefully prepared for this evening, drinks and food a plenty on the many tables, with music ready to go.

Soon the partygoers began to arrive, while the hosts were college students they hadn't put an age limit on anything. Every element of the party was open to guests of all ages. The music played throughout the area, the people danced and chatted.

Yes, this evening the supernatural folks were going to enjoy themselves, for none partied like those who lived on Manta Carlos.

Being a two-thousand year old vampire, Mallory wouldn't usually be spotted at parties run by college students, but with her youthful appearance, she was ideal to blend in among the group, and make sure no-one was doing anything they shouldn't. Who would expect the 14-year old girl to be a teacher after all.

The only problem was the large crowd. Mallory had taught at starlight for years, someone was bound to remember her. pulling her sun-hat down lower, she moved over to the drinks table, and, not paying attention, went to pour herself a cup of the first random drink she saw.

"Look... drinks with tiny umbrellas", Zoraida said as she and her friend Natasha walked into the not too crowded pool area, modern music playing in the background. Both women were wearing bikinis with a cover-up. They really had had no idea what to wear for a pool party - with college kids - and had opted for the obvious - swimwear.

Besides. both Zora and Natasha enjoyed swimming and figured that, if the party was not that exciting, they could always go for a nighttime swim in the ocean. Something both of them loved to do and hadn't done in a while.

"Come, let's grab a drink, maybe see if there's anybody we know here," Natasha suggested as they neared the drink table.

"I don't know... it looks like a fairly young crowd," Zora replied with some uncertainty.

Aaron loved parties, loved the music and the atmosphere and especially loved the people who went to such events. This evening they wore a black string bikini with short shorts coveting the bottom, she moved through the party humming a bit, her sharp red eyes looking over everything.

She wasn't in the mood to swim yet, so she'd sip her drink and see who had all come. She recognized a few people, she knew the hosts and had come to several of their parties and vice versa. So she knew she could have a good time here.

Shiro wasn't sure why she'd come, she wore a t-shirt and shorts, her bathing suit underneath as she wandered around looking at everything. They were one of the younger teenagers who'd wandered in after hearing about the party, curiosity had drawn this cat shifter in, she wanted to see what all the noise was about.

So she'd wander up to one of the tables and grab a cup of punch before finding a seat on the sidelines to watch everything. For now she'd wait and see what happened.

Ethan loved to party. It didn't matter where and with what company, he just liked to have a good time. To let go and just have fun. There was just something about the way that everyone swayed in time with the music and the alcohol in his system that just felt exhilarating. Despite being on the island for a fair amount of time now, he didn't know many people that well. Ethan enjoyed being in the company of a large group but after leaving his friends behind him, he no longer had that.

He had heard of a party that some college kids were throwing on the beach and decided to show up. A brightly coloured tank top draped from his shoulders, showing off his arms. Ethan made sure to wear his black swim shorts that came to just below half way along his thighs - it was on the beach after all. His electric blue shades covered his eyes as he sauntered down to where the music was playing. The sun was beginning to set, creating a breath-taking sight as the golden colours danced in the skyline. First things first, he needed a drink. It wasn't a party until there were drinks at hand. Pouring a cup of the first thing he found, he gave a half smile to a short, black haired girl. It appeared as though she was way too young for this kind of party but he found that on the island, looks were deceiving.

So far, so good. She thought, sipping her drink, still unsure of what it was supposed to be. Feeling a little fuzzy, Mallory put the drink down and waved at the obviously drunk boy in front, grinning like an idiot.

Picking up her drink once more, she wandered around. There were a few people here mostly wearing swimsuits. Looking down, Mallory felt unsure if her sundress was appropriate for the scene.

Getting their drinks, some punch for Natasha, which she guessed might have alcohol since she could smell the faint hint of vodka, and a beer for Zoraida. Then both girls wandered off to check out the party together.

"There's quite a few people here," Zora remarked as they came to the large pool, that was surprisingly empty, nobody was in the water yet. Looking around, she shrugged and decided to sit at the edge of the pool and put her legs in the water.

"Great idea, let's see how the water is..." Natasha said careful not to spill her punch as she lowered herself to the ground, sat down and slid her legs into the pool, enjoying the coolness of the water.

Sasha stared blankly at the crowd from afar. She had gotten the directive to seek companionship from her Educational instructor. Parties were places where many people made friends, or at least that's what she had found online. She had even attempted to dress appropriately for the occasion, using resources online to create a fitting outfit, wearing a camouflage sports bikini with denim shorts over the lower half. It felt strange to not have her scarf equipped, although she kept her camo headpiece at least. Her eyepatch remained, as usual.

But something was stopping her from acting. Direct contact was required to complete her directive, but something about the sheer number of people was holding her back from going in. Perhaps it was her stealth programming acting up. She would need to have that checked on back on the SOS.

She scanned the crowd for faces she recognized, although in reality, she “recognized” almost everyone here, her scanners automatically matching peoples faces to yearbook photos. Spotting a black haired girl in a t-shirt off to side of the group, noting them as one of the few individuals here lacking a yearbook photo. That generally meant they were a new arrival, or older then they looked, and if they were new, they'd be looking for others to socialize with, as humans and human derived species tended to be herd animals. The individual seemed to be a prime candidate for completing her goal, as well as her primary directive to maintain public order. The alcoholic beverages served were not properly guarded, and it would likely be possible for an underage individual to sneak some.

Moving closer to the girl, Sasha instinctively camouflaged herself, her regard for the individual as a directive target automatically causing her stealth to act up. With the only giveaway possible being her footsteps, the android should be completely undetectable with the music playing in the background.

Sitting down next to the individual, she finally noticed that her stealth features were active, deactivating them, coming into view and tapping her on the shoulder gently.

“Salutations.” She said in her usual soft monotone, her unblinking eye staring at the girl, its bright green hue and targeting reticle instead of a pupil instantly noticeable. “I am Sasha. What is your name?” She asked politely.

Her eyes continued to roam over the area, her nose twitching slightly as she picked up a familiar scent. Turning she'd look to the pool, a smile appearing on her face, guests could swim either in the pool or the ocean, she spied someone familiar in the pool.

Making her way toward the pool she'd quickly slide in with the other swimmers. "Evening you two," she'd say with a smile, hope I'm not interrupting," yes this was indeed fun, she'd smile just a bit longer at Natasha.

Shiro would jump a little and eep just a bit when the person appeared and tapped on her shoulders, her punch going over herself. "Hoooooly shit," she'd say, looking to her new companion and chuckling a bit nervously, "you scared the hell out me cutie."

The cat shifter would giggle a bit and look down on herself, "eh, little punch never hurt anyone." She'd look back to her new friend, "Sasha? Well I'm Shiro, good to meetcha." Certainly not the most normal introductions, but it'll do, "happy to see there's someone else around my age," she'd pull her shirt off and tie it around her waist, "good thing I brought my bikini."

"Not at all...the more the merrier," Zora said first, greeting the dark-haired pretty newcomer with a smile, as she continued to sit on the edge side of the pool, slowly moving her legs back and forth under the water.

Natasha had, at this point, removed her wrap and slid into the water, leaning comfortably now up against the side of the pool enjoying the water. They were at the shallow end up the pool and Natasha was just enjoying the coolness of the water on her skin. Finishing her drink, she placed it on the side of the pool just as a young woman greeted her and Zora, "Yes, the more the merrier," Nat agreed, staring a second too long at the newcomer, and thinking she looked somewhat familiar, but as she couldn't place her right away, she just shrugged it off mentally, and asked curiously, "Are you here alone?"
