"You are only to use this circle in a battle if you are able to stand still long enough to prepare it." He said looking at her. "And yes, It touches in with your inner element and where you get your power from, you got it from anger and devotion which leads to fire, as I get mine from sorrow and despair which is similar to ice. When you are surrounded by your element in a circle similar to this one you will find that your power will increase ten fold. However, if this circle is interrupted while you are using your ability, then your energy will go into a dangerous level unless you have enough power to let a blast out as strong as the one you are about to use." he said then looking at her circle. "Step out of it and fire." He said it would be the strength of her normal blast except she would not lose energy from using it

Annabelle smiled inwardly. Fire did suit her. Her anger, determination, loyalty, stubbornness... and a few good qualities, too. For a moment, she wondered why he was in despair, but didn't ask. He was a fallen, he was below her, and he didn't deserve her concern. Even if he hadn't killed her yet, he was still one of those despicable creatures.

When told to step out of the circle and lose the blast, she did so. After this had happened, she blinked, and looked at her sword. She was surprised that she wasn't as weak as she would normally be, really. "Is this strength going to last?" she mumbled, looking at him out of the corner of her eye.

"You have mastered the first step of energy consumption, now you can branch out into the real power behind that light of yours, that is something you must find yourself, the next time you see me I expect a challenge." He had gotten her riled up so far and that was the only reason why so she could suit herself with power...and now that she had it he would not be surprised if she decided to leave, sure there was more he could teach her...but if she would find it herself then she would truly prove herself as someone who could fight.

".... that is something you must find yourself, the next time you see me I expect a challenge."

The woman smirked. "Of course," she said. "Don't worry. I'll be a challenge, and some day soon you might not find yourself alive anymore." Annabelle refused to let him believe that just because he was doing all of this for her that she still didn't plan on killing him. She most certainly did, and it would be a wonderful day when that happened.

"Now, is there anything else I need to know?" she asked him. She didn't want to stay in his presence for longer than she needed to, and the sooner she left, the better. However, if there was more he could teach her, she could stand him long enough to learn it.

Annabelle blinked when she saw how fast he was walking away. "And you would be walking that fast... why?" she asked, not completely understanding it. He hadn't been in this much of a rush earlier, so why rush now? It also didn't sound like he was telling the truth, so she decided to question that as well. "And, are you sure I can't master this stuff alone?" she asked, an eyebrow raising again.

He sighed knowing that he should teach her the rest..."Fine...so far I have only seen you using that weapon as a conductor for the light can you use it with your bare hands?" He asked her not looking at her anymore...even if he was teaching her she would kill him eventually it was what he wanted to die in battle...but so far he was holding her hand and so far not one weakness showed.

Annabelle shook her head. "No... I can only use my sword..." she said. She had never been able to use anything but this weapon to use her power — she had tried, but, it hadn't exactly worked. She waited patiently, wondering if he would be able to teach her how to use it with her hands or not.

"I see...drop your sword." He said suddenly, you have not mastered how to use your power without it, you must threaten yourself in a life or death situation in order to use it then." He said suddenly serious, "If you can use your power without it, I will be able to guide you down the path of manipulating the light that is formed from your energy which will allow you limitless possibilities." He said suddenly before waiting for her acceptance he would not trick her, and if she would not understand that then she could never master this move, in order to use a power without a weapon you must trust everything around you and then trust it to guide you,, since she could not trust him then she would never be able to.

When told to drop her sword, Annabelle held it more protectively, not wanting to do so. This had to be a trick! Life or death situation?! There was no way that would work. He was lying. He only wanted her to trust him so that he could kill her. Well, it was a life or death situation... even so, that wouldn't make her power work. Or would it?

It took a while, but the woman finally dropped her sword. She looked at it as it hit the rocks, then looked back to Cleanse. "Happy now?" she asked, waiting to see what he was going to do now.
