"That probably took a lot of determination, huh?" Allan replied with a soft smile. If he did have the will as strong as Corbin, he have chosen to be mute too, but he didn't have the same motivation. In fact, he needed to speak, he needed to explain to people the danger he could see. Though he was never able to really save anyone. But it was probably not going to be that easy. But he has learned to choose his words carefully. Most of the time.

Allan hummed as he tried to choose about asking again. His question sounded personal in his opinion but he knew all of them went through it. All of them had to go through that point when they finally realize their ability. And see the darkness of it. He always thought his dreams were a little crazy but he never thought how prophetic they would become. And those dreams haunted him every morning when he wakes up to see an image that showed everything he had seen. It scared him even up to now.

"This might be a bit personal but... how did you.. feel when you found out about your ability?" he decided to ask. "It's okay if you don't want to answer though..!"

Corbin's eyes widened in surprise at the question before his eyes darkened at the flood of memory that it triggered. He looked away and shut his eyes, trying to lock them up. Those smiling faces, just gone. Families crying, screaming at him, demanding answers he couldn't give.

He turned to Allan, and saw the fear in his eyes, perhaps thinking about his own abilities. Corbin tried to keep from answering without actually giving an outright refusal.

He scribbled on his white board then showed it to Allan, leaning back as he finally managed to keep the memories at bay.

"First, I showed you mine, you should show yours. And I'm not talking about dangly bits."

He wasn't even sure if the older boy was willing to tell him anything, but if he doesn't, then Corbin might just not have to tell the other more about his abilities.

Allan realized he had really stepped into secret territories when he saw's Corbins reaction to his question. He was scared, Allan knew that enough. What could have Corbin done before to have that kind of reaction. A part of Allan was scared that he had actually dared to pursue that question. But he has already asked; there was no turning back.

When Corbin finally turned back to him, he saw that the younger student had been able to collect himself. Allan read his message carefully, letting out a small chuckle that despite that reaction, Corbin was still able to pull out such a joke. For a moment, he thought that Corbin had already overcome that past but then maybe, it was more like he was trying his best to keep his past from controlling his whole life.

Allan smiled softly, "Fair enough," he said, "I think that's a very reasonable price for my curiosity."

It took Allan a few seconds before he began. "I actually just ignored it before, thinking it was just... random dreams. But when things got out of hand... and I realized my dreams were actually... premonitions..." a deep breath, "I was really terrified, I guess. To the point that I was even scared to sleep because I didn't want to see any of it..."

Corbin nodded as he listened to Allan tell his tale. From the way he spoke to the words he said, Corbin didn't doubt for a second that the other wasn't scared out of his wits. Corbin smiled wryly at himself as he knew the feeling of being terrified of what was supposed to be the gifts that made you special.

After Allan had paused, he questioned him, "What kind of dreams did you see?" he asked.

He already had a pretty good idea on what kind of premonitions Allan saw considering how hesitant he was just by talking about it. But he couldn't help but be curious.

He did mention being afraid to go to sleep. If they were going to be in the same room together, learning about this might be for his benefit as well. Just in case his dreams find a way out of the other's mind and into the real world per say. Maybe he could even help the older boy.

"Well, half the time, they make no sense." Allan said, leading forward just a little that his elbows were propped onto his knees. "I mean, it's completely unreal and... I feel like I don't exist anywhere and I'm just suspended in the middle." he added, glancing towards Corbin for a moment.

He actually never really noticed that he was in a dream before, but as time passed by, he learned to partially lucid dream. But despite being aware of being in his dream state, he could never control what happens. It was always out of his control, just as how reality was for him. Especially when it's been foretold.

Allan turned his head towards his side of the room where he had already covered part of the wall in cloth and canvas on the cases he wakes up in a trance. "You don't have to worry about me waking up in screaming through the night though." he said jokingly, laughing as he turned to Corbin. "I wake up pretty quietly but... I'm kinda hard to talk to when I just woke up. Most of the time."
