Awkward forever

"No problem Sherry Berry.." Lexi was so happy her face had a smile that just stayed on her face. She was falling for someone, she felt the best she had in a long time. There was nothing that would ruin this day or moment. Lexi's hands just held Sherry tight for a bit longer before pulling away and help her new girlfriend up. Holding out a hand. All of this was new for Lexi in ways she couldn't tell, but it all felt right. Every second of it.

"We can.. Hold hands all you want Sherry. As long as it makes you happy, because the idea makes me happy too~" She said with a giggle. Her pulling still going on.

If Sherry took her hand she used her strength to pull Sherry up and in for a deep meaningful kiss. To convey how she was feeling about this whole situation. Just.. That Sherry was truly wanted. Lexi totally forgot about her club meeting, this was worth missing it.

Lexi felt stronger than ever. Her own girlfriend, her own person to share moments with. Like a Princess.

"Don't be sorry. I want an us too. I just.. I also think you are too amazing to let go out. I really do like, like you."

Her face nuzzled into Lexi's shoulder as they held one another. It was magical t be in her arms, like some weird fantasy. When they separated again, Sherry gathered up her books, in a heat of warmth. The girl didn't want to take long at doing this, as she would have rather been locking lips again. With a smile to Lexi's statement, she grabbed her hand and got her wish. Another, more meaningful kiss was given to her. This was too much, almost. Afterwards the girl hid her face in Lexi's hair, feeling somewhat embarrassed at all of this. "I-I'd like to hold your hand, yes." The thought of everyone knowing that she had a girlfriend scared her, but at the same time she knew she couldn't be scared of such things. "I'm so glad, to hear all of that." She huffed happily, before looking into her eyes the best she could. "DO you want to walk me.... To my locker?"

Lexi slowly worried about people would view her. Though. She didn't mind. She had a girlfriend, someone she could talk to and be herself around as she kept purring. Lexi kept Sherry's hand in hers as she just listened with a smile.

"Of course.. I could say no to someone I both metaphorically and literally fell for~" She said lightly.

The offer to go to Sherry's locket made her happy. She gathered all her belongings and put what wasn't too heavy in her backpack so she had a free hand to hold Sherry's while they walked. Eventually starting to walk down the hallway.

"So.. Umm.. Sherry.. What's your favorite color? Mines pink."

"You're funny!" She smiled, just happy enough that Lexi agreed with her. Holding hands wasn't that big of a deal, but for her it meant a lot more. There was a feeling of protection and connection with it, which only warmed her heart. She waited for her girlfriend to get everything she didn't need into her bag, before offering her hand once more as they walked down the halls. Sure, some people from her class were staring at her; but that only made Sherry hold on more. This was her pride, after all.

"My favorite color? hm..... I really like magenta and purple actually. even somewhere in between. Makes me smile." The girl giggled as they reached her locker. Choosing to drop her books rather than get rid of Lexi's hand in hers. It seemed as if Sherry was the more nervous one in his new relationship, as the girl was terrified to speak her mind most of the time. Her locker opened up to pictures of her friends and family, all making for a heartwarming welcome into a bit of her life. It was spotless too, completely organized. Sherry placed her books into her locker, knowing that she wouldn't need any for that night. With that, she shut the door and turned to Lexi, grabbing both of her hands before kissing her nose.

Lexi looked at Sherry's locker and her jaw almost dropped to the floor. She blinked at her locker. It was.. Perfect. All neat and tidy. Unlike.. Lexi's at all. It was a polar opposite. Even though Lexi cleaned her locker a lot it still managed to get full of things.

"Magenta is a cute color! Almost as cute as you." She said when Sherry kissed her nose, gripping Sherry's hands lightly as Lexi gave a kiss on Sherry's cheek. Looking around at the people watching she blushed a bit and looked up at Sherry.

Taking a moment to rub her nose on her shoulder as she moved in close. Her body pressed up against hers almost pushing Sherry into the locker as some people pushed past them.

"Well.. What's your favorite movie?"

Sherry's heart was beating so fast, like an electric shock every second. There was happiness in her life now, like some whirlwind that had made her life so much better. Every time she looked at Lexi, her heart fluttered. Too bad she had never felt like this with her ex boyfriend. She chewed the inside of her own cheek when it was kissed, feeling sparks run all through her. Without much movement, her body was up against her locker, as she got nuzzled by her little cat cutie. "I'm not really sure. I love a lot of movies. Maybe Star Wars?" With a nod, she continued. "And you?"

Lexi was up against Sherry, feeling the warmth. Lexi was truly happy with this. She stayed close for a bit longer as she kept purring lightly. Then eventually meowed lightly. She never kissed someone. Except for Sherry. Sherry took her first kiss. Her first real kiss. Her whole body felt warmer than anything. Even when she's sitting in the sun. "Star Wars? I watched all of them! I prefer Disney movies... I really like Cinderella." She said blushing a bit. A little weird but she was being honest. "I like a lot of movies too! I watch a lot of movies when I'm doing homework or when dad stays late at work." She stated.

Eventually she leaned up and kissed Sherry once more. She felt safe with her.

"What are your powers? I mean.. what can you do?"

The purring was super cute, like a little kitten in her embrace. She just wanted to stay close to her, to feel close to someone. With a smile, she acknowledged Lexi's favorite movie. "I think that's super cute! I love that movie too." The mention of her dad got her curious. "Did he come to the island with you?" She only hoped that wouldn't stir up any bad energy.

It felt a bit weird to the be taller one, as Sherry was used to being the shortest. Maybe that was why she had never notice Lexi before, thinking that she was in a lower grade or something like that. "My dads like movies a lot, same with my siblings. It's hard to get us all together but they really appreciate it when we have family time." Sherry leaned down and nuzzled her nose against her own, making a sweet humming sound after their kiss. "I can manipulate ice. That's really it. A lot of the time people say that my long hair is like a power, but it isn't. What about you, Lexi love?"

"Yeah, actually he came here first and left me with my aunt and uncle for a few days till he got settled here then got me to come here!" She said. Which was true. But things looked up now. Originally she wasn't supposed to come here at all, but then thought it was a good idea later on. "But.. he's also a teacher here so.."

"You're dads? Wow.. I have one dad and no mom. Yet." She said with a smile still on her face. "Though that's nice. I bed it is good to see your whole family to watch movies together. I like doing that too with my dad!" She said with a giggle.

She felt Sherry's nose on hers which was like and kiss and listened to her hum. Smiling even brighter as she just looked up at her. "Oh? you can manipulate Ice? that's so cool! I wanna see sometime!" She was asked about her powers. "Well.. I have unnatural strength.. The grace of a cat sometimes and I can summon people to me if I am in danger or if I want to see them again." She smiled then her ears twitched a bit as well as he tail. Wait.. Did.. Did Sherry just call Lexi...

Lexi Love?

She looked at Sherry for a moment with a red face.

Did sherry love her? Was she going to say it?

Did Lexi just truly fall in love with someone after just meeting them?

Then her mind came back recalling the conversation beforehand.

Though she knew about how she got all this she didn't want to ruin the moment they were having.

"what's your favorite flower?"

"So you were all over the place for a bit, it seems." It was good that they could talk to one another so easily now. "I would love to meet him, well, officially and all, if that's okay?" It was weird to be meeting someone's parents on a different level. "You can meet mine too. They are very loving and amazing!" Sherry could gush about her parents all day. "Your dad seems like a real cool person though, considering he raised you. And you're... Really amazing." She flushed, clearing her throat. "Do you think he'd approve of us?" Her eyes darted, as she got nervous of the thought of him rejecting them.

"I'm sure we can make some sculptures together, for sure." The thought of her powers was interesting. "Soo.... You could call be if you were missing me?" With a smile, she waited for the reaction of her nickname. She got a blush, but no complains, which only affirmed in her head that it was ok. "Well I really like roses, but maybe that's because that's my families' thing, I guess you could say. Rosales roses." She took one of her hands away and covered her face, embarrassed. "I'd love to put on in your hair, sometime. Unless you have something that would suit you more..."
