"Oh, they're students there as well," Kalvin echoed. Who knew if he had already encountered his new boss' relatives? There's a bigger chance that he hasn't. Although, Kalvin hasn't gone out much to socialize so he wouldn't know if he was right. He nodded as his new boss, Rafael, began to speak about work hours. Did Kal have 30+ hours in the week to make the job? He could do it but he'd have to sacrifice a bit of time on his hobbies. He had to make his training wait for now. "Yes, of course. Oh, and I can send over a copy of my class schedule if that will help."


He thought about the questions he needed to ask. He was sure everything was covered. Plus, it wasn't like there were any fight clubs or underground rings he could participate in here in Manta Carlos. He was sure to stay focused on school and the job, then. Even if he found one eventually, he wouldn't be joining anything right away. "Well, there's not much more I can ask at the moment," he said instead. Glancing at Rafael, however, made him think of one. "Or rather, there is one thing. Since we're in Manta Carlos, we're not limited or expected to use our abilities, are we?"

Kal nodded slowly as it was explained to him. He was working for a wizard. That's new, he thought, a little bit of excitement in his mind. Rafael had explained it so simply and confidently. Kal could see he was comfortable with his powers already and capable, too. He wondered if it was a coincidence that Rafael even looked very handsome.

The moment that thought entered his mind, Kal sat up straighter, trying to clear his head of any trace of it. He needed to be professional, damn it. Still, watching Rafael this whole time, it's not difficult to appreciate him.

Kal took in a deep breath as Rafael's words came to a halt. He disguised it as a highly impressed breath, which wasn't too difficult. "Wow. That's really awesome," he said with a bit of a smile, clearing his head of the unwarranted thoughts. "So I guess that's all my questions."

"Thank you. And I'll be looking forward to working here," Kal said. He stood up as well and shook his new boss's handwith a smile. This is a new experience for him. He'd never worked in big name companies before but he was willing to try it.

He joined the man in the reception area. He nodded ay the information and nodded before he bode his goodbye. He then walked out of the building and into the sunlight. He had a few days to get everything in order before he officially went to work. He checked his watch and then his phone before he started walking back to the campus dorms.
