APPEARANCE
Ashley is somewhat small, standing at just around 5 feet even. She has more of a thin build. She has very light-brown hair falling a bit past her shoulders. Gray eyes and a small nose detail her face.

PERSONALITY
Really, the first thing you’d notice about Ashley is that she’s very quiet. She doesn’t talk much unless spoken to, and even then she responds in short sentences if possible. Despite this, she isn’t really shy.
Ashley has an overall distrust of herself. She’s afraid of harming anyone again, especially friends or anybody close to her. Due to this she may seem slightly distant.
If you did talk to her and get to know her, though, Ashley is very selfless and kind when speaking. In fact, she often puts those that she is friends with/close to far before herself, which is both positive and negative in ways.

POWERS
Electrokinesis.
Ashley can manipulate and create electricity. She can control a maximum of about 300 milliamperes, and a maximum of around 50 Watts. At the power’s maximum, this could very well kill a human. Needless to say, this much electricity is never intentionally drawn.With Ashley’s abilities, the following can be done within the limits listed above.
•Diverting power, i.e from a source to a conductor
•Create electricity
•Use that electricity instantly, such as making sparks or small lightning
There are some range limits to these powers. Direct contact will allow the full extent of the power to be used, while distance will drastically reduce the electricity’s potency. Any distance beyond 3 feet will not be affected by the effects of Ashley’s electricity.
Along with manipulating electricity, she will also be immune to any amount of it. This does not boost her powers, however.
Finally, to help her control her powers, Ashley has an extremely conductive magical stone in which she can transfer electricity to in large quantities. This effectively reduces sporadic, dangerous flashes of electricity.
Note that Ashley’s powers are largely unstable. She can use her powers at will, but stray discharges can happen. This usually only takes the place of small crackles of electricity, but larger discharges are possible.
HISTORY
Ashley was born and raised in the US state of Mississippi. She was raised by very kind parents who Ashley loved. They were great parents, if not a little spoiling.
Ashley’s powers hadn’t emerged until she was about 12, but they were weak enough at the time to prevent anything dangerous.
This made it all the worse when at the age of 14, a sudden discharge was triggered walking with her parents. Ashley accidentally electrocuted her parents to death on a side road.
Guilt consumed Ashley as the incident was labeled a ‘freak accident’ by the police, throwing suspicion away from Ashley. She stopped speaking to anybody after the incident.
Nearly immediately after, a Starlight Academy scout took her to the island, where she is talking only a bit, still guilty about everything she’s done.

OTHER
- Almost always smells of ozone.
- Wears insulating gloves to prevent charging anything she touches.
- If made physical contact with, Ashley will unintentionally give the contacter a light yet constant shock, felt as a tingling sensation. Think pins-and-needles.
