His eyes widened and his mouth dropped open as he heard Fallon speak. Looks like he really wasn't good at keeping Corona hidden.

She figured it out..
Fail.

"Um... ah crap.." He sighed and bowed his head with his eyes closed. "..yeah you figured it out. He annoys me sometimes. And actually the reason I was passed out here was because he had control of me.. and I pass out for almost 10 hours after he does. If it wasn't for him I would be dead by now from those wolves.." He looked over towards the direction of the Forbidden zone. He then wondered if anyone had noticed he had been missing the past few days.

Fallon smiled, and chuckled. "I see. That makes more sense. Well don't worry about it, anyways. I'm really observant, so most people wouldn't notice," she brushed her hair out of her eyes, "Well, as long as you avoid growling at him, that is."

She laughed out loud, for no apparent reason. "So, you want to head back to the school, or were you planning on having the undead wolves come back to finish you off?" as the morning wore on, her normal, cheerful, blunt personality was rising, and so she was smiling cheerfully while she waited for an answer.

He adjusted his glasses and looked up at the girl. His stomach rumbled a bit and he sighed.

"Well, some food would be really good about now. I haven't eaten in a few days." He the suddenly seemed to realize something. "Erm.. did we ever introduce ourselves? I can't remember.."

"Well you didn't formally introduce the one inside of you, but I caught the name when you accidentally let it slip. Corona, and you introduced yourself as Paul." she smiled again, "And just to clarify, since I'm assuming you forgot my name, it's Fallon."

She played with the gold feather absently, "So, are you good to walk?" she asked, obviously expecting an honest answer from him, and watching him for signs that he was lying.

"Err..yeah, I'm fine." He stretched a bit, then turned to walk towards the school. Before taking more than two steps, however, he turned back to her. "Thank you, by the way. For protecting me from the animals while I slept."

It was at that moment the ground directly underneath them rumbled loudly for a few seconds.

The ground rumbled, and she sighed, removing the feather from her choker, and extending the thing into a rod. "Looks like the little fluffies that knocked you out didn't want to wait," she spun the now rod like a baton. As the rod spun, the tips lengthened, and thined, turning into sharp ends.

"Run, or fight?" she questioned, cocking her head to the side, stopping the motion, cheerfulness gone, and replaced with a serious, detached face of a fighter.

He nearly fell over as the rumbling became louder and louder. It felt like something was rushing towards the surface. He seemed to have a bit of panic before Corona shouted at him to snap out of it.

"What IS that!?"

Move OUT OF THE WAY you idiot! It's going straight towards you!

He quickly jumped backwards at the exact moment the ground that was previously below him split open as a large maw snapped at the air. It was difficult to tell what the creature was at first. It repositioned itself and it became clear it was no ordinary monster. Two large, black goo-like arms spouted from the hole and layed onto the ground. It had not pulled its entire body from the hole yet, and was only a dark gooey face with red eyes and arms. It almost seemed like some sort of slime monster, but after a few seconds it would become quite apparent that it was no such thing.

Fallon cursed, and the gold split so that she had two blades, one in each hand. The ends of the gold wrapped around her lower arms, attaching themselves to her, sinking slightly into her skin, then the gold lengthened into much longer, obviously very sharp, blades. All of this happened in a matter of seconds.

"Looks like you've got quite some enemys out here." she muttered grimly, using a small sliver of gold to pull her unruly hair out of her eyes, which were not afraid.

What is that thing!?
I can't even pronounce its name.. its a type of lesser demon. Strange for it to be on the material plane, though. It must have tracked you down because of the wounds from the undead wolves.
Material Plane? What is that? I don't understand..

The creature's arms went for Paul, the dagger-like claws aimed right for his heart. To the creature's demise, howver, Paul completely changed at that exact moment. His hair and eyes became completely golden, and he jumped sidewards evading the attack. Corona had taken over now, and he knew that taking control again so soon could mean serious damage to Paul's body. But he knew the only chance of this creature being defeated was if he and Fallon worked together.

"Hey, girl. This thing is alot tougher than it looks. Don't think you can just smack it in the head like those lynxes. I hope you know how to fight more challenging opponents.."

"Just because these look like something to beat a lynx on a head with." she remarked, still grim, but the sarcasm dripping from her voice.

She crossed her weapons, and watched Corona dodge the creature. Her eyes flicked fast, absorbing details quickly. "So, since you obviously know what this thing is, how exactly, do we go about beating it?" she questioned, stance relaxed, though her reflexes were quick, and if the thing were to attack her, she'd be out of the way, and inflict a wound on it in a flash.
