"Hrm..?" He looked confused for a second, then he smiled. "Don't worry, I'm fine, if I wasn't, Corona would've-..." It was then he realized what he had said. He had a weird look on his face for a few seconds.

It never ceases to amaze me how often you fail to hide me. Of course, if you think quickly you could easily come up with an explanation.

"Um.. yeah yeah why don't you check for me..its a little sore.." He turned around as she had asked, hoping she wouldn't question what he had said. Maybe he could pass it off as a side-affect from being knocked out..

She was observant enough to know what subject not to touch. So when he froze at the mention of some Corona, she just shrugged it off. Instead, she stepped behind him, quickly and gently checking his head, in a way that she'd obviously done before. (On Topher) She nodded, even though he couldn't see it. "Nope, no blood. You've got a doozy of a bump there, but I'm sure.." she caught herself biting down on her tongue to keep herself from saying what was on her mind. She recovered quickly, "I'm sure that you'll be just fine," a bit of a cheesy recovery, but better than saying something like I'm sure that Corona will take good care of you.

She stepped back to her original position, and was tackled to the ground by the Lynx she'd forgotten about. It had her arm in it's mouth, but all she did was let out a cuss, using her free hand to pull the gold feather off of her choker. The gold extended, and hit the cat squarely in the jaw. It yowled, and jumped off of her.

She weilded the now golden rod at the cat, "HA! Get out of here mongrel!" she hollered at it. Apparently that was all the cat needed, because it took off through the bushes. She cursed again, rubbing the mouth shaped bruise on her arm.

When the Lynx jumped at her, he tried to react. He wasn't fast enough, though, for Fallon had already smacked the creature off of her. He wondered just how much experience she had against such enemies. Corona seemed thrilled with how well she hit the Lynx, and scolded Paul for not reacting quicker. Corona said he should have been able to intercept it before it bit the girl. When he saw the wound she had received, his eyes widened and he walked over to make sure she was alright.

"Are you okay? It might have rabies.. we should get you checked out.."

Fallon smirked. "Relax," she drew out the word, "You only need to get checked for rabies if the stupid critters puncture the skin." she drew up her sleeve, holding her arm up for closer inspection from him, "See? No punctures. Just bruises." she pulled a handkerchief from her back pocket and wiped the cat slober off of her arm. "No blood either." she added, showing him for emphasis.

She pulled the sleeve over her arm again, and focused on pulling the rod back into it's feather shape. Then she returned curious eyes to him as she fastened the feather back where it belonged again.

He blinked. "How in the world do you get bit and not bleed? You're really okay..?" Seems Corona was right once again.. a lot of the students of the school were way out of his league still. And he was older than a lot of them.

"How..how is it you do that?" He seemed to be speaking of her special ability, though he never specified.

Fallon chuckled, "Maybe I should rephrase that. No outside blood. The bruises mean I bled, the stupid cat just didn't puncture my skin." she stated simply, smiling up at him.

Topher was scratching at her mind, so she let him in, 'What?' she asked him mentally, unable to keep the annoyance from her mind.

'Um, well, I felt pain and was wondering if you were ok?' came his reply, nervous, as usual.

'Yeah, I'm fine, just ran into a tree 'cause I wasn't watching where I was going.'

'Oh. ok.' and with that, he was gone.

"...do that?"

She glanced up at Paul, looking blank. Topher had made her miss a question. She cocked her head to the side, "Hmm? Say again? I didn't quite catch that."

Fallon nodded. "Oh. That was what you meant." she pulled the feather from her choker once more. If it could talk, she was pretty sure it'd be annoyed with her. She looked down at it, and this time, it shifted seamlessly into a butterfly. "I can control metal. All of it," the golden butterfly separated into three pieces, turning it's self into a smiley face. Then she closed her hand over the smiley face, and attached the feather to her choker again, "That means returning it to it's original shape, too."

She shrugged. "Might as well tell you the whole thing. My skin's stronger than regular humans. Because I was born with the ability to control metal, I suppose." she cocked her head to the side again, "For instance, if you were to punch me, it probably wouldn't even leave a mark. But if I were to punch you, I'd leave a bruise." She realized how stupid that sounded then. He was older than her, that much was obvious, "No offense." she added, small smile coming onto her face.

"erm...none taken.."

Tch..that much would be true even if she were a normal human...She has a cool ability, though. I like it.
Definitely better than having something as annoying as you inside my mind.
You'd be dead 1000 times over if I wasn't here.
Almost all of those deaths wouldn't even have the possibility of happening if you weren't here!

A full-scale argument started now. Paul stood there with an angry face as he argued with Corona. He started to growl after a few seconds. definitely not seeming "normal".

Fallon watched Pauls face get increasingly annoyed, and the more she watched, the more she guessed. By the time he growled, she'd pieced a lot of it together, and couldn't hold in a laugh. "Corona giving you a hard time, huh?" she asked, trying very hard not to laugh now.

She wiped the laughter from her face. "Sorry, that was probably out of line. See, my twin and I have a telepathic bond, so I kinda pieced that somebody's talking to you in your mind. Don't worry. I won't tell anyone." She sat on the ground then, wincing. "What did that stupid cat to do me?" she mumbled, chosing to ignore Paul for the time being.

She raised a small corner of her shirt to look at her side, and frowned. "Well isn't that pretty,"she said sarcastically, shaking her head and dropping her shirt back into place. She was speaking of a large, multicolored bruise that was showing up on her side. "Stupid cat."
