Private Finished Artificial But Real?

Not the most exciting ride? It wasn’t exactly easy to tell given that nobody could see Sushi’s face, but he was having a blast. They were moving so quickly and he was able to see so much out the windows. There was fun music too. Life was great. He had a content smile plastered across his face.

“This is very exciting. Thank you muchly. I do not ever ride in cars.”

Sushi nodded in agreement when Symlink suggested that his dad might be really strong. It certainly seemed to be the case from what he could tell so far.

It was a little odd only moments later when he was told that Neon was actually weak and used some sort of power where everything near him became light. Still, even if that was the case, Sushi considered strong to simply be being able to lift heavy things. It didn’t really matter how a person went about it. “I think you are strong.”

Most of what Neon said didn't make much sense. He'd heard of ghosts before but had no idea that they came from dead people. "You have died? But then you are a ghost but also a..." Come to think of it he didn't know what a kitsune was either. "What is a kitsune?"

Sushi faced towards the steering wheel when he spoke, as if Neon was right there in the driving seat, even if he wasn't.

Spirit foxes. That sounded really cool to Sushi. The word mischievous went over his head but that certainly sounded neat too.

“Mis-chiev-e-us? What does that mean? Are both of you mischievous?”

“Oh.” With a sudden thought, Sushi remembered he was supposed to go home. Callie was going to be checking on him soon. “Neon. Symlink. I must go to my dorm room. Can you take me there fast?”

Oh, pulling pranks. Sushi had that one explained to him in the past. It was like knocking on somebody’s door and then hiding away. He had even supposedly pulled pranks before knowing what they were, anytime he’d go invisible and then appear right in front of people. They were usually harmless but could also make people sad. He imagined that Neon and Symlink would be really good at that, seeing as how they could disguise themselves so easily. Although, from the sounds of it, Neon wasn’t all that interested.

When told that Neon could get him to the school, Sushi nodded gratefully. “Thank you. Callie will be sad if I am not at my room when she comes home. I do not want her to be sad.”
