The corner of his lip would twitch. "Well.....not everyone gets turned by someone just trying to save a life," he'd look down at the tea. "Some sires just do it out of boredom....or to laugh at how the change affects the person," he'd take a sip of his tea, he very much held a grudge against his sire.

He'd look back up at him. "There's been times where you thought being a vampire wasn't worth it?" those thoughts had definitely come to him a lot. "Have.....have you ever tried to find a way to reverse it?"

Nathan would snort. "Yeah the light took a while to get used to," he'd take another sip of his tea. "I've consistently getting the sound filters they sell, the ones that look like heating aids, but....I don't know....seemed like a bad idea." Despite his mixed view on vampirism, he felt that trying to just block one of his senses was a bad idea.

Diam would listen, his head tilting to the side a bit as the air around him seemed to grow more somber. He would set his teacup down with a click once Nathan had finished his questions. "I cannot pretend to know what fate has handed you. Your words ring with truth, we turn each other for myriads of reasons. Some as a form of revenge. Some in a desperation to quell the loneliness. Some in the hopes of avoiding the loss of a friend."

The small vampire would stand and wander over to a shelf, retrieving one of the porcelain dolls and brushing the dust off of it's face. "We have been given a great power. Not one of creation, but of rebirth. We have the ability to grant someone a fresh start. I would encourage you to talk with your sire. Befriend them. If nothing else forgive them, for if you do not this power will forever be a dark stain in your mind. Someday you will have found you have committed the same mistake they did."

Replacing the doll, he would turn back to the table. "I am sure there is a method of reversal. Their are a handful of creatures on this island alone capable of granting that wish. I gave up that idea long ago however. My case presents too many questions for it to be a sound decision. If one such as yourself desired to transition back to mortality, I could not prevent that." He settled back into his chair.

"I would not suggest such action without careful consideration. I only know that mortal or immortal, monster or minister, you can only be what you allow yourself to become. I truly hate when when people squander what is precious for little reason more then they did not stop to think."

Diam shrugged, lifting his teacups to his lips once more. "As for the sound suppressors, I do not think you need be so trepidatious with them. Most of our kind discover how to dampen the senses temporarily one way or another. I see no reason yours could not be technological."

"B-befriend them?" he'd ask with a hiss. "You're right....you don't know what I've been through," he'd say, eyeing him. "Encouraging someone to do things when you know so little and them is.....it just seems bad."

"As for my sire.....I was his friend....I thought he was mine," he'd say with a glare. "He turned me to see what happens.....he did it because he knew my parents would react poorly." His sire very much assaulted him to do it.

He'd sigh and set his cup down. "Not everything can be forgiven....and sometimes they just shouldn't be."

"Advice is only words until someone listens, and silence changes nothing." Diam's composer didn't break in the face of Nathan's anger. "Forgiveness is not an admission of wrong, nor for the sake of someone else. Perhaps you are correct and you are certain of his motives. This will only reflect in you clearer."

The vampire paused to finish his tea, setting the empty cup on the saucer. "You say you shouldn't forgive him. What will you do when you see him again? You will." Diam nodded sharply to accent his words. "You both have eternity to encounter one another once more, by coincidence or otherwise. Will you seek vengence? Will you kill him?"

"And what of yourself? Your own views on this existence? Will you seek a cure to fear being turned again? How is your strain spread? Will you turn another for no other reason then you lost your temper and forgot you should not bite them?"

Diam sighed heavily, shaking his head. The conversation was threatening to get the better of him as well. "You may think me a fool if you must, but these are questions you must ask, no? If my words are truly intolerable, I shall return to silence."

"I can't turn people with just a bite," he'd say, setting his tea cup to the side. "As for sires.....yours saved your life....mine...he destroyed mine," he'd say with a glare. "He told me why he did it, because he knew what my parents would do."

He'd glare at him a bit. "And I have seen him since....he gloats..he mocks, and he laughs," he'd sigh, "I just walk away." He didn't see how this vampire had a right to lecture him when they'd literally just met.

"Anyways, I have to go," he'd tighten his wings around him. "Goodbye Diam," he'd say, heading to the door, briefly glancing back before taking his leave.

"Do not think my life was not complicated simply because my sire was kind." The smaller vampire began gathering the tea set back onto the cart. "And your sire is the fool if he cannot see the see that he has given you a gift. Whether or not he believes it a curse should have no barring on your peace. You are half of the way to this conclusion, I think."

Diam would wheel the cart back to it's place behind the the desk and turn back towards the door. "You are welcome to return." He'd state in farewell, giving Nathan another small bow as he exited the shop.
