Adelina shrugged her shoulders. "Honestly, I don't know," she said. "I know she was going crazy looking for something to wear, but... I don't know if she'll actually come. She doesn't have a date, so I fear she'll feel left out." The seventeen-year-old frowned somewhat, feeling a bit bad for her younger sister. She took another cookie and starting eating without complaining, wondering if October would, in fact, feel left out if she came here.

Andrew nodded. Dani had said that same thing. Of course she didn't really worry about what to wear, considering her wardrobe. "Yeah, I'm not sure if she'll come either." He said, referring to his sister.

Andrew thought for a moment. "To not get you mad at me.' He said half joking, half serious. He really didn't want her to get mad at him. "What about you?"

At hearing that, she laughed again. "Really? Are you serious?" she asked him. When he asked her the same thing, she thought for a few moments, unsure. She really didn't have one... but, then she realized that there was, in fact, something she wanted to work on. "Well, mine is to try and not get mad at you... and to try not to be mean to everyone else. Though the second is going to be HARD." She sighed quietly.

Andrew nodded. Yeah, I'm serious. Well, mostly. But I do plan on not being so annoying."
Now he shook his head in disagreement to her comment about it being hard to be nice. "Nah. It can't be THAT hard..."

Adelina smiled. "You're not annoying," she told him. "Really, you're not." She nodded to emphasize her point, doubting he would believe her since he already had his resolution picked out. She shook her head when he disagreed that being nice would be hard. "Yes, it will be. I've been rude to people for a while.... to you really think I can just change?" There was a bit of hope in her voice and she looked at him, waiting for an answer.

Andrew nodded. "Yep. Just act like you do around October, Dani, and I and you're good to go." He assured her. He glanced at his watch. "Can't believe that 2007 is so close..."

She frowned a bit. But none of them are you, Oct, and Dani... she thought to herself. She didn't want to say it aloud, not wanting to get into an argument with Andrew. Not now, when they were having fun.

Adelina nodded in agreement to what he said about 2007 being so close. "Yeah," she said. "You got any plans for the new year? I mean, like, anything that you wanted to do last year that you didn't? Or not really?" her head tilted to the side somewhat, wondering if she had phrased that correctly.

Andrew grinned. "Well, now, I've got the coolest girlfriend ever, so not really." He sad (completely serious). "What about you?" He asked.
