Adelina entered the ball room, looking around. Her hair was down loose for once; no pony-tail older, nothing to keep it back at all. She swallowed, since it felt weird not being pulled up. She smiled though, and looked at her maroon skirt and black top. Alright, she looked ok. Not absolutely spectacular in her opinion, but ok. She took a deep breath and stayed to the side, waiting for Andrew to arrive.

Andrew came in. He saw Addie standing off to one side, and he went over to stand next to her. He gave her a quick hug. "Hey," He said with a grin.

Andrew grinned. "Happy New Year to you too." He glanced around to see if he saw anyone. "Want something to drink? Or eat...hopefully they don't have the brick cookies this time..." He muttered the last part.

Adelina laughed a bit too loudly at that, but quickly quieted herself down. "Oh, hopefully," she said. She noticed a table that had cookies, and it was all she could do not to smile evilly. There was a bit of a smirk upon her lips, though. "Shall we go see if they're bricks?" she asked.

Andrew laughed with her. "Sure, why not? If they are...we could always start a food fight. He took her hand and walked to the dessert table. He picked up a cookie and thumed it with his finger.

Adelina quickly followed him to the dessert table and picked up one of the cookies as well. Deciding to be the brave one, she bit into it, and was surprised to find that it wasn't hard. Well, as hard... it wasn't as soft as it should have been, but it wasn't brick either. "Ugh. When are they gonna get some new chefs around here?" she asked.

Andrew copied Addie's actions. Okay, they weren't that bad...improved. Slightly. "Hopefully soon...or I'll pretend to sue." He forced himself to eat the rest of the cookie.

Andrew shrugged. "I think. She was on the phone with a friend last time I checked. What about Oct?" He said. He grabbed a drink to wash down the dry cookie.
