Selkiris laughed a little and scratched at the back of his head. “Ah yes I suppose I have a few stories I could tell at some point. A few aren’t in good tastes however, I can’t tell of slaying dragons in a place where dragons live among us.” Selkiris’s adventures were extremely diverse and plentiful, he had tons of stories he was sure he could tell Morgana if she ever wanted. “Oh nonsense I have nothing better to spend it on other than an occasional book. There is no need to worry about a debt.”

Dragons? Morgana had not met any dragons yet. She knew there were some on the island, but she didn't know beyond that. And she was beyond excited to hear about them and meet them.
"I'm certain you had good reasons for slaying dragons, or at least I hope so. And I'd love to hear any stories you have to offer."

When it came to debt for some reason Morgana had a clear moral. When you were in debt you always paid it back. There was a firm expression on her face as she shook her head and looked at Selkiris with determination.
"I will pay you back, no matter what. Even if you refuse I will pay you back."
Morgana nodded once as if to put a seal at the end of her proclamation, making it final. And Morgana's tone was one that you didn't argue with.
Was Morgana always able to sound like this?

Selkiris laughed a little “I hope so as well....” Selkiris knew he had changed a lot from back during his actual ‘era’. Customs and reasoning was different now and perhaps the reasons for his adventures weren’t okay in the slightest nowadays. “Your headstrong about this huh? Well then I suppose I can’t say no to that can I? Very well!” Morgana continued to remind Selkiris more and more about his wife, and he really did not like it for some odd reason.

Morgana wasn't aware of the lore surrounding dragons, or what kind of eyes the society on Manta Carlos or Narrow Reality viewed them with. She merely knew they existed, and that they were large beasts, often with sentience and human forms. And that thought, like many others, were very fascinating for her. And she also knew that sometimes dragons were aggressive, and had to be slain for greater good. The thought made her uncomfortable, Morgana greatly valued life.

Morgana smiled and nodded again, when Selkiris gave in. And at that moment she had a strong feeling of dejá v. Like this had happened before. Now Morgana did take a small step back, and she looked at Selkiris with confusion. She touched her hand to her head, or to her horn more precisely. Morgana shook her head slightly and smiled again at Selkiris, though this time her smile was a bit smaller.
"I think I'd like to familiarize myself with these books and atlas. I would ask you to join me, but you must be busy."

Selkiris took one more time to view Morgana fully. She kept reminding him of Morgan constantly which only led him to more questions than answers. “Hm oh yes of course. I’m terribly sorry but I do have things that need to be done, but I do hope you enjoy the books I selected. You can contact me if they are not up to your standard however.” Selkiris took a soft bow and then vanished. Selkiris reappeared deeper in the library, away from Morgana’s view. He needed to think....long and alone.
