Eliana stood, looking at the destruction of Manta Carlos. The place was already being repaired, but even so it was apparent the damage the tsunami had done. She put her hands on her hips and frowned. Eliana tried to determine whether this bugged her, the idea that her penthouse was fucked up, that everything here was like this. It was a dull pain, so light she hardly considered it anything.
She looked over her shoulder at Malvoes. "Good thing we weren't here, huh? You aren't worried, are you?" About his friends. His dorm. She didn't feel like she had to specify what things there were to be worried about.
She turned and made her way over to him, careful not to trip over any of the debris on the ground. Eliana took his hand and gently squeezed it before leaning up to give his cheek a light kiss. "Honestly, Manta Carlos is filled with such powerful people that I have trouble worry about any of them."

Malvoes was looking as well, taking in the desolation left behind from the tsunami, it did fill him with sorrow. His new home was so wonderful and to fall to such catastrophe as it had, it was very sad. Even though he was sure that constructions and repairs were probably well on their way, you can't keep this town down for long considering it's many strengths.
Mal would keep his gaze to the cityscape, still caught up in his thoughts, when Eli spoke to him. "Yeah, I suppose it is a good thing we weren't here. Honestly I'm sure they're okay, I do feel a bit worried for them all but I'm sure I'll get a hold of them soon." He knew his friends, they were strong, in a lot of ways, and was sure that he could rely on their safety.
He would lace his fingers with hers, turning to her finally, and giving her a kiss on her forehead before smiling at her. At least he knew that she was safe, that they were both safe. "Yeah, that's pretty much my thoughts."
His smile would disappear for a moment, as a thought occurred to him. "Are you okay darling?" He was referring to her thoughts and feelings on her penthouse, her home.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Eliana asked mildly as she returned a squeeze to his hand. "It happens, things like this. No reason to be destroyed over worldly possessions." There was the unspoken line there about immortals and losing things quickly, anyway.
"I'll just have to stay with some family, maybe Klaus until everything is fixed. It'll be quicker here. Magic helps with that type of thing." Then Eliana made a face, something between a grimace and a sneer. "Except Vito will be there. Ugh. He hates me."
She looked out to the destruction again, breathing in slowly as she considered something. "What friends do you have to check up on?"
Mal would give a shrug, "Fair enough I suppose, glad you aren't too attached to inanimate objects."
That rose a question, "Huh, I wonder if the college campus is okay to stay at still, or if it's destroyed." He thought on it for a moment, wondering where he'd be staying if it wasn't, maybe he could get a hotel room. He was snapped back to reality from her comment and the look on Eli's face. "Trouble in the family?"
He'd follow her gaze, remembering the rest of the city for the moment. "Well, my roommates, Max and Kaize. A young friend of mine, Maddie. Uhh..I think that's everyone I care about honestly. Other than you obviously, I was with you so I know you're okay."

"Meh, just Klaus' second-in-command, Vito. He's a real ass. I mean, why doesn't he like me?" she looked at Malvoes as if he could supply the answer for her. This was more distressing to her than the damned tsunami.
She sighed dramatically before saying, "I'm sure I could find you a place to stay, Luv. You know I've got connections. Hell, Klaus might let you stay at his place if I ask him real nice."
Mal would blink a few times, looking at Eli, trying to figure out what to say. "Um, maybe he's jealous of your perfection?" Malvoes offered, with a gesture to her entirety.
Mal would suppress a chuckle from her dramatic sigh, taking on his own melodramatic tone. "Oh, I don't want to impose. I'll be fine in the gutter, sleeping in the streets till I can find a place."

Eliana snorted. "I mean...maybe. But. Ugh." She turned on him and gave him a leveled look and without any sense of irony, Eliana said, "don't be so dramatic, Mal."
Eliana pouted at his rolling his eyes at her. She pawed at his arm and clung herself to him. "Hey, I'll have you stay wherever I'm staying if you want. I'll even help you find your friends. Eh? What do you say?"
Mal would wrap his arms around Eli, pulling her close to him. A smile forming on his face as he held onto his beloved, it was a nice moment, even if they were in front of the water logged city. "I would enjoy staying with you darling. Very much so."
