Erasthai, for the first time after so long, had been careless. It was a simple slip, he wasn't even rushing for anything today, but he forgot his glasses in his room, right there on his bedside table. That was the risk of wearing glasses when you don't really need it for your vision. Sometimes, it's hard to notice when you have the glasses or not. This time, Erasthai didn't.
He noticed it after setting foot outside the dormitory. There were more people, more pairs of eyes around him, and he became aware of them only after he's left school grounds.
Well shit.
Those eyes gave him a look so familiar that it scared him. He stopped walking in the middle of the pavement, and reached up to the bridge of his nose. The glasses weren't there. His heart suddenly started to jump and skip and race, and everything else inside his body started to follow its rhythm. Anxiously, his eyes darted around, and they'd meet others that looked at him with such unnatural desire. He'd go back to the dorm, if only he didn't usually attract stalkers in this kind of situation. But since he does, there was no way he could let anyone find out where he lived.
He straightened his back and resumed walking towards downtown. He acted as cool and composed as usual, even though his heart was beating a mile per minute at the moment. That stopped when a group of girls practically blocked his way just so they could talk to him.
"Um... Hi," it started with such a simple greeting, and with him being recklessly kind towards a stranger again. He was only being nice when he decided to talk to them, but when he said he had to go, the girls insisted to go with him. And then their numbers rapidly increased...
Until Erasthai found himself running for his life.
"This is ridiculous..!" Erasthai made a turn. By this time, his shirt was already losing a few buttons, and he didn't care anymore what his hair looked like.
Another turn. The girls have caught up, squealing as some of them grabbed him. "Stop this nonsense, girls... Wh-whoa!" And it was like drowning in the sea as they all gathered, wanting a share of him. He was going to die, he just knew it.
