Why, oh why were all the interesting ones bent on suicide? He stood up, sticking his hands in the back pockets of his jeans. He wasn't that tall, but she wasn't either, and even from a few feet away he had to look down a bit to see her face. He shifted his jaw back and forth, thinking.
"Why?" He finally just asked her, voice as calm and smooth as always. He wasn't entirely sure if she'd respond or not; they'd only met a bit ago. But he wasn't just curious, now. He liked her for some reason, and didn't want to see any harm befall her.

"Because.... Bad past, no friends, no one ever loved me. Lots of Reforming schools, blamed for things I didn't do. Girl's jail, my parents never cared. I got beat to a pulp in the jail and no one stopped it." She sighed.... Sitting back... "I've never had a good thing happen."

Alexavier raised an eyebrow. Smoking and drinking? odd qualities for a preteen. He mentally shrugged; he wasn't the one trying to date him, so it didn't really matter what he thought. "Do you think you can do it?" He wasn't doubting her; if she thought she could, he knew she would be able to.
"I think I can... but it depends on how much he truely cares for me.... And how much he cares for himself." She said with a sigh.... "He might not change but I got to try." She said determined... She felt her stomuch flip.... What if he didn't change she loved him so much already...
"It's hard." He glanced over at her, sure that she already know. "They say... If you love them, then you'd leave them alone." Wait, why was he telling her this? He was just going to discourage her... "If anyone could do it, you can." He added, both because it was true and because the more she heard it, the better.
