Moria sat in the woods she hated to be alone, she couldn't find anyone to talk to at this new academy. She wished she had someone to talk to. She wanted a friend, she looked blankly at the falling leaves deciding to chase them. She saw one going to hit the ground so she ran quickly sliding to catch it. She smiled as it landed in her hands. She studied the leave and sighed.... This would've been funner if she had a friend to do it with. She got up feeling older and mature since she had no friends why act her age?

Alexavier was wandering aimlessly through the woods, plowing up torrents of leaves with each step.

Aah, he loved fall. The academy had many more trees then he'd ever seen in his life, and he'd been meaning to take a walk in the forest for weeks now, but he'd been busy with this and that and hadn't had a chance before now.

He picked up a pale red leaf, and was in the middle of studying it when a sharp pang of emotion filled his head. He couldn't tell what it was, but it wasn't a happy one - he guessed either homesickness or loneliness.

Slightly interested, he followed the trail of the emotion for a few moments, ending at a tiny clearing in the woods where a small red-headed girl was playing. She didn't seem upset... He turned to walk away when she sighed, and another wave of unhappiness pulsed through his head. He looked back over his shoulder, shrugging walking back towards the girl. "Err... Hello." He took off his top hat, offering the girl a flourishing bow. "I'm ever so sorry to intrude, but I was walking by and..." He coughed, placing his hat back on his head. "Felt you."

She looked at him and raised a eyebrow her sadness gone now she wasn't all alone. She looked at him... "You seriously have issues.... I'm guessing your powers is empathy, unless your power is feeling presence of people" She said eyeing him. "But anyway.... I'm Moria... You are?"

The girl said to him extending her hand.... She wanted to talk to people and not be lonely like she was. She smiled friendly to the guy she didn't want to be alone quite yet and she rather meet some human being then no one.

"Issues?" He raised an eyebrow, stepping completely out from behing the trees. "Guess that's one way to put it... And it's more of a telepathic sort of thing." He paused, suddenly shaking his head. "But I can't read minds yet, so don't worry."

He shook her hand, giving her a quizzical look. "Alexavier. If you'd rather be alone to do whatever it was you were doing, I'll leave." He glanced over his shoulder as if demonstrating he'd be happy to do it, waiting for her to make up her mind.

"Please stay... I don't want to be alone." She said quickly... "So um.... You have any friends, I'm guessing you go to the academy. You probably have many friends." She was a bit talkitive today. She wanted someone to talk to badly and since this boy was all she had she was going to make him stay if she had to drag him to make him talk to her.

She waited for him to talk then she'd probably overload him with questions. "Oh do you have a family? Are you married? Do you want me to look for a girlfriend for you?"

"Fair enough." He leaned against the tree, laughing when she asked about his friends. "Not really, no. I only know one or two people... Do you go to the academy?"

His eyes widened, and he held up his hands as if protecting himself against any more questions. "Wow. For one, yeah, I've a family in Alaska. Two..." He motioned to himself, a bemused look on his face. "I'm sixteen. I seriously doubt that's allowed. And three... No, no thank you. I'd... No." He dropped down on a large boulder nearby, crossing his legs at the ankle and folding his arms. "What about you, Moria? Married? Got a family?" he asked, a half grin on his face.

"No I'm not married, I'm too young silly.... in some states you can marry at 16." She said with a smile.... Then her face grew solumn.... "No I don't have a family." She left that question at that not wanting to go in detail. She went back to him... "So you got no girl, why don't you want a girl? Can't get one? Haven't found one you fancy?" She said with a smile and smirk.

Alexavier went a tiny bit red, pretending to be very interested in the sky for a few moments. 'Ah. Well. Good question.' He'd accidently projected the words directly in her mind without noticing, and only now did he realize he hadn't actually heard himself say anything. "Sorry, it's a bad habit." A pause, and then "how old are you, then? Fourteen? You should go to New York - you can get married at thirteen there, with court premission." He offered her a happy smile, glad to change the topic.

"Nope I'm 12.... You poor guy you have no concept of age do you?" She said with a smile. "So you can't catch a girl.... I feel bad for you." She smiled trying to annoy him. She loved to annoy people on certain subjects like marriage, dating, and why they don't have them.

Alexavier shrugged. "Twelve, fourteen... What's the difference?"
He sighed, giving her a pitious look. "Besides, It's me who should feel bad for you. You're the one who has to wait a whole year before she can get married." He flashed her a perfect grin, more then happy to fight fire with fire.

"If I were a lesser man, I would make a crack about catch-and-release." His face was completely straight; it was hard to tell if he was serious or not. "Thankfully, I am not. And, for your information, there is a exorbitance of twelve-year-olds here, and..." He frowned at the girl - now that he was sitting, they were more or less eye to eye - "No offense, but I'm not that desperate." He leaned back, observing her with something resembling interest. "And are you interested in any of the students of this lovely Academy, pray tell?"
