Alone, forever

She smiled at him lightly, "So... You stay in wolf form usually?" She asked as they walked, she was trying to keep they're time together from getting weird. She wondered how he was dealing, if he had cut back drinking and smoking at all because of his problems or if he still was as addicted. She didn't mind now though, she just wanted her friend to not leave her again. She knew the stuff he was addicted to was bad, but she could only hope he'd stop doing it. If she pressured him, she knew he'd never stop. She looked at him, one could sense the loyality and love she felt for him. She didn't want to lose him again.

"I perfer wolf to human, but my powers only work when I'm in human form. Truth is lately I've been avoiding humans, but I really don't fit in with the wolves either. They seem so carefree in a way, so I guess in either place I'm now a loner." She said calling herself what she felt she was since she had avoided people. Hence her presence at the mountains instead of the town. She didn't know how Sonlath seemed to manage his hurt. She looked at the sky, "You know... The moon is a loner too, it stays away from all the stars and sits there alone."

She looked at him, "No I didn't, because I don't want other friends. They all are too different to understand, I just can't relate or feel okay with them. Your the only one who understands at this academy or even possibly in this town. They either are happy and pity you or they treat you as if your their parent." She said with a sigh, she didn't like cheery people. She fit more into the gothic crowd than the cheery one, she hoped Sonlath would understand that.

She chuckled, his joke was okay but she found his friendship better than his jokes. "I know, but some people just don't click with me. I guess your right in a way, maybe I should just stick with wolves. I'd feel more at home with them than humans. Humans always are so demanding wanting you to change for them. Maybe I should stick to my wolf side and try harder to fit in there." She said thoughtfully, now that she thought about it she could protect them from things better than some of them could seeing she had powers and had the intelect of a human and the speed of a wolf.

She understood why Sonlath had become part of the wolf world, it made sense. It helped him get happy again, and maybe she herself needed that as well.

"I just..." She put her hands to her head her head throbbed with pain. "I just don't like having to try and push myself to be friends with people who are so different I could never understand them or feel like I was good enough or I could relate at all to them. October was all nice and cheery but the fact is she probably has someone who cares like a sister or a brother and I only have myself why open myself for hurt?" She said with a sigh, "Besides you have your reasons for staying away from people, I have mine."
