Andrew shook his head. He'd never seen Addie wear jewelry, so he had ruled that out. "Nope. You don't really seem like the jewelry type." He replied.
Wow, he'd figured it all out on his own. Adelina nodded in agreement, and continued thinking. "Is it..." she began slowly, "... something I've talked about before?" She didn't know what else to ask him after this, so she was probably going to need a hint soon. But, she doubted he'd be giving her any hints.
Andrew nodded. "Yes. Not that long ago, actually. But then again, we really haven't known each other that long." He shrugged, smirking slightly.

Adelina was silent, thinking back. What had she ever spoken about with him? Birthday, age, grade, powers, siblings... but none of those could really be given as gifts, of course. They'd talked about music, though, and books... those could. And, more specifically, Wicked and Interview with the Vampire. Maybe he'd gotten something to do with those...
"Does it have to do with music or books?" she asked him.

Andrew grinned slightly. "Yes. But I'm not saying which." He told her. Their food arrived just then.
Adelina smirked. "Well, at least I kind of know what to expect now," she said. She was sure he wasn't going to answer anymore of her questions after that, so she decided that getting the answer she got was good enough. Head turned somewhat upon seeing the food arrived, and her smirk slowly disappeared. It returned when the waiter left, though, and she took a bite of her pizza, still silent.

Andrew shook his head as he took a bite of pizza. No... he paused. "No, you have no idea." He smiled mysteriously.
Adelina blinked for a moment, then sighed. "Pleeeeeaaasseeee tell me?" she asked quietly. He'd just said that it had to do with either music or books, hadn't he? Then she did have an idea.... why was he saying she didn't? She was confused now.... she sighed again. "I'm dyin' here... and I'm confused..."
Andrew laughed. "You look pretty alive to me. And sorry, but confusion, well...Sorry. But I'm not telling." He said as sympathetically as he could. He tried to think of some way to change the topic, because if he didn't, he would probably give it away soon.
"Ok..." Adelina said with a childish frown. She pouted somewhat, taking another few bites of her pizza. She knew he wasn't going to tell her, and she did want to be surprised, but still wanted to know now... she shook her head, deciding to give it up. "Ok, let's just change the subject," she said. "So... um... what did you say YOU wanted to Christmas?"
