"Or else this town is one serious looney bin." Andrew said jokingly. He watched for a pizza place as they walked.
Adelina laughed. "Exactly," she said. She was silent for a few moments, keeping an eye out for a pizza place too. She looked up at the sky after a minute, noticing the clouds. She didn't worry about it though, doubting that it was going to snow or rain. "So..." she said, wanting to break the silence, "how's Dani been?" She knew they were room mates, and friends now, but it was all she could think of to ask.
Andrew shrugged. "I dunno. I haven't really since her much. You've probably seen her more than I have." He glanced up at the sky like she had. "Think it's going to snow?" He asked.
She shrugged her shoulders. "I have seen her, just haven't talked to her much," she said. She didn't bother looking up at the sky again when he mentioned it. "Nope." She paused for a few moments. She hoped it would, but she still doubted it. "It probably won't. But I don't think it'll rain, either."
"She has been quieter than usual," Andrew agreed. He had only seen her once since he and Addie had started going out, and then they hadn't really said much other than "hi". "Probably not," He replied, referring to the weather. "But it would be cool if it snowed."
"She has..." Adelina said quietly. She then thought of something.... they hadn't really talked ever since she had been going out with Andrew... she blinked. "Do you think she's upset that we're going out? Or jealous, or something?" She paused for a few moments. She didn't think that was it... but it was possible. After all, she hadn't exactly known Dani for a long time.
"And yeah, it would be cool...." she said in agreement to the snow conversation.

Andrew shrugged. "Maybe, but I doubt it." After he spoke, he realized that might be true. "I'll talk to her later and see what's up." He said, half to himself, half to Addie.

She nodded. "Good," she said. Hopefully he would be able to find out what was going on. She spotted a pizza place out of the corner of her eye a little bit farther down the road, and looked at Andrew. "Do you want to go eat there?" she asked, gesturing toward the place with her head.

Andrew looked where Addie was pointing. The pizza place didn't look too disgusting or anything. "Sure." He said. He started walking a little faster, suddenly extremely hungry.
Adelina walked faster as well to keep up with him. She was suddenly really hungry as well, and she quickly opened the door to the place when she got there. She held it open for Andrew, glancing inside. It didn't look disgusting yet, or anything of the sort.... so hopefully it wouldn't turn out to be.
