Thea rolled her eyes “We’re supposed to work together, you aren’t gonna outrun me we’re tied together. All the hair gel must be messing with your brain.” She said as they passed the finish line. It felt good to win but she was slightly worried about Nancy. Maybe she wasn’t a good fit for the other girl.

“Thanks, id rather not lose my leg.” Nancy said enjoying the slow walk to the finish line. She gave Thea a thumbs up for reaching the finish line first. Though she wasn’t sure who was considered the winner. “So who exactly won?”

Thea nodded “Yep I won” She said proudly and then rolled her eyes at Rex. Of course she had won what else would be expected. She felt bad that She had abandonded Nancy but the female was slowing her down. Still the guilt was there.

“Do you think maybe you’d be happier with Elisa Nancy.”

Thea shuffled uncomfortably, “It’s just you seemed more relaxed with Elisa. I know im a handful. I’m not trying to ditch you...I just want you to be comfortablr in your time here.” She gave Nancy an apolgetic smile.

Rex watched the interaction between the girls impatiently. He was absoutely okay with switching.

Thea nodded “yeah Lets switch..” she felt a bit guilty but this would work for the better. This was the type of decisions she’s have to make if she ever hoped to be a god.

“This will definitely be for the better.”
