[agodr] There’s no ‘I’ in ‘Team’

Thea had entered the Divine rights tournment to find new abilities and friends. She had to say that both the regalia she had found were a bit interesting, one more than the other. She had met Elisa previously while school shopping so it wasn’t to much trouble to set up a challenge.

The hardest part was probably getting her regalia to actually work with her. She as going to do her darnest to bond with her regalia, she couldn’t fail. She wanted to win, Thea was competitive and she had to be the best. Nancy, the temporary name she gave to her regalia didn’t really care about winning. When going over the game plan to win at all cost, she seemed less than enthusiastic .

When she spotted Elisa she excitedly waved her over. “hey its nice to see you again”

Thea returned the hug and nodded in reply to the introduction. She personally thought the guy looked like a tool but she said nothing of the sort. She instead gave him a once over look and shook her head at his ooo i wanna be edgy style. She guess every place had an emo phase to go through.

"This is Nancy" She said pointing to the woman beside her. She was dressed plainly in a blue dress and sneakers. She had been completely resistant to Thea giving her a make over. She'd also been a debbie downer but Thea was to nice to say anything to her.

"So I was thinking a three-legged race? It builds teamwork and it's fun if someone falls."

Thea bounced excitedlt after taking the ties and stuff out of her shoulder bag. She had thought this out easily. She wanted to make sure it was challenging enough but not too difficult for her partner. “Uh yeah, We have our regalia as partners to sorta build teamwork and raise morale. Its a good way to show we can work together?”

She was tweleve as far as she was concerned it was an A+ idea. She was sure that Nancy would feel better if she won a contest.

Thea having exercised with her father earlier in the day was already stretched. She had tried to convince Nancy to join her to no avail. She had no idea what to do to raised the girl's spirit and generally tried to make her happy. At the end of it all, she just gave the girl space and allowed her to do what she wanted. Lord knows Thea was always doing things by herself when no one wanted to join her.

Nancy looked over Elisa and nodded in acknowledgment to her hello.She was completely un-bothered by this entire event. "She convinced you to do this as well?"

"I mean he's not wrong but he's not exactly right. It's a friendly game, that I'm going to enjoy beating you in....nicely though?" She said trying to not seem so competitive but it was hard. She was going to be extremely disappointed if she lost. Ignoring the competition for a moment she tried to work out with Nancy which leg they were going to tie. In the end, they decided her right left and Thea's left.

Thea looked around the park and shrugged 'I was thinking a couple yards, definitely keep it simple and not to hard on either partnership." She looked to Elisa to see what they thought.

”Sounds about right” Nancy as Thea tried to euthastically usher Nancy to the starting point Elisa had pointed out. There was no pointing in delaying the race more. She was definitely going to win, why wouldn’t She?


”Yeah, Ill just set a time for 10 seconds so that gives us time to get in position, the noise will signal a start” She said as she handed a strip of cloth to Elisa for her to use.
