Elisa, complete with the three Regalia she had met and had somehow pacted with, were wandering down the street. They made an odd bunch. A Young girl, A guy wearing tye-dye, Another with a pencil thin moustache, and finally a sad-faced old lady.

She could sense the tension growing in the group, as Pencil-stache, seemed to have issues with the hippie, w. Pencil-stache wasn't his name though. Elisa just hadn't the courage to ask him yet. There was something about how everything seemed to startle him in some way.

Garrick walked around in his uniform, fairly casually. He was just patrolling, but since he was closer to the end of his shift now, he walked with his Regalia. His Regalia was an older man, taller than Garrick. The pair were having a conversation, but Garrick had to stop himself sighing several times. He was talking about some the different kinds of people that lived on the island, and his Regalia just kept being surprised. Garrick frankly wasn’t surprised by very much so he found himself exasperated.

He spotted a group walking, and noticed how three of the people walked behind a younger girl. The group was odd... a little too odd. A part of him told him that she was likely a participant but he couldn’t be too sure.

She saw Garrick, and rcognising him from the Community centre, Elisa though she would go over to say hello.

Upon approaching him, however, she remembered that Garrick only met Eli, and any display of familiarity might startle the officer. Instead, she took note of the man he was talking to. She had seen a few regalia so far, and the odd behaviour, as well as the fact she hadn't seen him before on any of her walks, made her think this might be another of the regalia spotted around the island, and most likely pacted to him.

"Hello." She said, waving to Garrick. The hippy did the same, while Pencil stache squinted the the regalia. The old lady didn't react to this, fiddling with something in her hands.

As Elisa approached him, then greeted, Garrick felt like he'd met her before. She seemed familiar but he couldn't exactly place her. If he still had his perfect memory, he'd likely be able to place how she was familiar but he didn't have that anymore. He didn't really mind, though. He looked over Elisa's group of Regalia, and figured that they probably were Regalia. Again, he wouldn't be too sure though because for all he knows Elisa could actually be older than she looked.

He smiled politely as the older man stopped talking to Garrick to greet Elisa. "Good day, ma'am. Is there anything you need?" He had a polite voice tone. If Elisa knew Garrick was also participating in the tournament, and attempted to challenge him, he'd have to refuse since he was still working. Although it was drawing to the end of his shift, he would still rather do his job than be idling or doing a challenge he wasn't too invested in doing.

"Uh, I was just wondering if he was a regalia. Sating my curiousity. I don't think I've seen him before." SHe said politely.

Realising what she said, she put her hands up. "Oh, I'm not challenging you or anything. Just asking. My Name's Elisa, by the way"

She didn't give her last name on purpose. Last Elisa checked, Garrick had a brilliant memory, and as far as she knew, she was the only one with it.

Garrick’s Regalia usual seemed a bit surprised by Elisa’s greeting, but he had a curious look in his eyes as Elisa mentioned saying her curiosity. Garrick side glanced his Regalia and recognised it as... approval?

He then nodded. “Ah, alright. Yes he is a Regalia, and yes we are pacted.” He smiled a little. “I’m Officer Garrick Barnes, by the way. Nice to meet you.” He still had this tone to his voice that just seemed like a working voice. He cleared his throat to ask his own question. “And these people? Are they Regalias as well?” He tilted his head a bit.

The tone he was speaking in was that of someone being paid to be nice. He didn't recognise her, which was good.

"Hey, Officer Barnes." She nodded, smiling. "Ah, yeah, these three are Regalia." One of the trio, a man in tye-dye raised his hand. "Sup? I'm Nigel" He said casually, getting a glare from Pencil-stache. The man also waved his hand and a sort of shimmer passed over the hippie.

Elisa saw the stare and sighed. What was with the two? "Anyway, Now that I know you are pacted, I have to ask: How do you make sure they behave?" She motioned to Nigel, who for all intents and purposes, was now a mime stuck in a box. "He does it all the time. They don't argue, but it gets annoying sometimes."

Garrick blinked. He kinda squinted at Elisa because of what she said. How do you get them to behave? Garrick was doing a lot of squinting as he professed that question. Mostly because the first thing that came into his head was the fact that they weren’t pets, they were people.

This was likely one the few times Garrick actually got shocked. He kept opening and closing his mouth as he tried to figure out an answer. His Regalia looked surprised at Garrick’s own surprise. He finally sighed. A very deep sigh. “The Regalia are people. Not pets, and from what I can tell your Regalia are adults, not children. You’re not obligated to try and get them to get along, just as you are not obligated to get two random adults to get along. You cannot force an adult to change their behaviour to your form of behaviour. Especially seeing how, from what I can tell, you’re a teenager and they’re adults.” He placed a hand on his hip while the other pinched the bridge of his nose. He went back to a regular standing position as he nodded at his own Regalia. “I speak to Alfred here like a person because he is a person. He is older than me so I respect him as an elder. He treats me as a young adult.” He didn’t really have the same tone as before. There was a genuine concern in his voice in regard to how Elisa actually saw her own Regalia. He ended up with his arms crossed as he spoke.

She took a deep breath, considering her next words carefully. Elisa didn't mean to pass the Regalia off as Pets. They were people, as she knew, each with their own personalitiess and dreams. Her intention was merely social, to try to start conversation, with that being the first thing she saw. There was actually genuine fear in her eyes, as Elisa tried to think of a way to fix this.

She felt a clammy hand on her shoulder as the Older Lady in the troupe stepped forward. This regalia still had a sorrowful look on her face, but she smiled warmly at Elisa.

Only knowing her as Granny, a name that the Regalia herself chose, Elisa felt a bit unsure. "Don't worry, my Child" She whispered, before looking up at the man in front of her.

"This one here is young, yes. But she meant no harm. Elisa was only looking for a way to settle the differences between the two men over there." She said, waving her hand to them, who, for the time being, had left each other alone. "I'm sure you too, would agree that the way they treat each other is uncalled for, yes?"

Garrick pinched his nose as he sighed. He shouldn’t have just said the exact words he thought. He should’ve made it softer, partly so he wouldn’t have been as harsh but also so it’d be easier for Elisa to speak for herself. Garric disliked trying to do conversations when he was still becoming less detached. It was just a bit tricky to get back to normal.

He sighed again as he nodded. “I apologise for the confusion, then.” He crosses his arms as he tried to think. Frankly the pair were adults and the problem was between them. Elisa’s heart was in the right place, but there wasn’t really much she could do. “Well... it’s between them. But maybe they just don’t really have compatible personalities. You could either split them up...” He hummed slightly as he tapped his chin. “...or you could trade one of them? I’ve heard that trading is a thing. Perhaps trade one of the two for someone more compatible with your group, but trade your one to someone they can get along with too.” He had an uncertain tone for his first suggestion, but there was a confidence with his second suggestion. He really felt like that was a good idea. However, he wasn’t actually thinking of trading with Elisa. That was because of the ability his own Regalia had. Garrick didn’t know the specifics but he knew that it was the capability to manipulate emotions. He knew what could be done by an ability by that, and he was worried to trade it away.
