Garrick just cringed a little as Elisa asked Garrick to do the exact thing he had mentally said he wouldn't do. He pulled an awkward polite smile as he shaked his head. "I'm not very sure on if I want to trade, Elisa." He sighed to himself.

After a few moments, Garrick's Regalia cleared his throat with a gentle smile as he looked at Elisa. "Garrick is worried about the ability I have... It is the ability to manipulate emotions. He is worried I could bond with someone who would use it for less desirable purposes." He had a calm and honest tone. Garrick sighed as he just nodded along, a guilty look to his face.

Garrick frowned a bit. What Elisa said did nothing to ease his own worry with this possible trade. The fact Elisa hadn’t been on the island long meant she wouldn’t be as acquaintanced with the laws on not using your abilities on someone without permission. She could also be lying...

He sighed as he shakes his head. “I’m sorry, just...” He trailed off as he looked down.

Garrick’s eyes widened slightly. That... kind of changed the circumstance of someone being new to the island and not being accustomed to the laws, to someone who has only ever known the island and its laws.

He glanced back at his own Regalia, who gave a nod. Garrick took in a deep breath then nodded. “...alright. Alright, we’ll trade. I’m still... not entirely sure but yeah. You’re fully aware of the actions that can be taken against you if you use it in a way that harms people, or against their permission?” He still didn’t sound too thrilled, but also seemed on board. Frankly Garrick felt the forcefields being offered would be perfect for his job.

Garrick nodded. "Alright." He gave a nod at his Regalia, who walked over to Elisa to place a hand on her shoulder. It would be expected that the Regalia Elisa was trading to Garrick would walk over to Garrick to do the same. After some moments, the trade should be completed.
